What are you guys doing this weekend? Any good plans?

My weekend, nothing exciting. Helping doolil clean her room and grocery shopping. Going to take some snake pics, doolil wants to post a thread of her own. :D

Lol! I might go to Yarn con tomorrow... Yeah, it sounds exactly like what it is.

On Sunday my buddy Nature is coming over to help me clean and organize! Hopefully by then I will have some eggs!!!!

So I went to yarn con this weekend. Lots of old ladies! Lol! It was cool though. A lot like a reptile show, but with yarn!

Still waiting on eggs from my female normal, Eero. Day 35 and counting!

I also had my reptile helper, TheReptileGuy over on Sunday to help clean and move some things around in the snake room. Still needs a lot of organization and some new shelving units but its getting there!

I really want to get some new PVC cages for my arboreals..but it will have to wait til next month. Also not sure if I should go with more boaphiles since I have 3..or get something else. I love my boaphiles but I do t love the customer service.

Decisions decisions.

Hope everyone is having a decent Monday. I'm already wiped out!

My weekend consisted of studying for tests, just like the week before it, and the following week. :taz:

I am with you on the boaphile deal. I would for sure do some nice caging for the aboreals since they actually show well, unlike balls. Speaking of caging, I really have to decide what I want to do for my subadults... scrunch some bigger tubs with lids into my hatchling rack and have them stick out, make a new one, or buy used. I'd only be housing 2-3 in whichever setup and hopefully be selling them, soooooo I am leaning heavily to shoving larger tubs in my hatchling rack!

How are you liking that massive rack?

Indy's growing waaayay too fast. I'm gonna need a new tub for her soon.

Its ok, i prefer smaller ones though, myself.

Lol, HypoPita knows me IRL he is just messing around :P

I'll probably just wait until Tinley to get some more boaphiles because then I can just buy them right there!

Also, the freedom breeder is awesome. Needs a new coat of paint and some adjusting...but its good!

Put them in my mouth and hum I'm a little tea pot while jumping on one foot! Then I grab a live one from my colony and toss it in with the snake.

Well... I put them on a strip of flexwatt for a day..

Haha when people watch me feed they think I'm special. I tell the rat what is expected from him an I couch the snake, specially if their being picky or when my spider is wobbling too much I give pep talks haha or helpful hints when their hunting.

Peter, I just do the same temp the snakes are at, about 90* or so.

I've now orderd my snake.
I bought a HYPO (Ghost) from Royal Constrictor designs. She was hatched in Jan of this year, and weighs about 170 Grams.
Now I can't wate until I get the tub setup. :)

I got my new thermostats in.
