THEY'RE BAAaaaack!

After nearly a decade of running non-stop, our photos contests took a much needed break. But now they're BACK! And ready to go another ten years and fill our galleries with the best of the best that our members have to offer!

To celebrate our grand re-opening of the contests, the winners of each will receive a BP.net T-shirt in their choice of blue or black.

The Theme for this month's returning POTM will be: WARM BLOODED PETS! Submit pictures of beloved furry or feathered pets. No photoshopping this month. Just let the love for our animals speak through your photos!

Just a couple more notes:

ALL the older entries sitting in the contest queues have been cleaned out as of today. You MUST submit a new picture (or resubmit a previous one) for it to be included in this new contest.

Polls will go up on May 1st!

I am having trouble uploading pics... but it may be due to my internet connection out here.

Really looking forward to this being re-instituted.
I like not just the animals but, seeing the creativity that comes out in these contests.

We have been experiencing some sporadic technical difficulties with the uploader for the site, which didn't show up until I re-opened the contests. It should be fixed soon!

Heyyyy. So I submitted a photo for BPOTM but my entry still hasn't shown up. Have they just not been approved or did my submit not go through? I know there was some trouble with the uploads a while ago but I was able to upload my photo successfully.

Deadline is coming up soon! Just want to make sure my entry is in :)

No worries! Just perpetually behind on all the tasks that need doing around here. :oops: :P

So long as an image is in the queue before the deadline, it will be included in the contest, even if it doesn't get validated until the last minute. (Well, so long as that image meets all the other rule requirements. :P )

Entries can come in as late as midnight tonight. Make sure the other contest rules are met as well. (See the giant-font link in the original post. ;) )

My pic didnt make the list of entries...no idea if it didnt meet the other requirements but i thought it did...

If I recall correctly there is a participation requirement that you many not be meeting with your recent return. Perhaps a quick perusal of the rules would shed some light on your predicament.

You have to have at least 10 posts during the month of the contest. You have five. That's why.
