How often do you feed your BP?
How often do you feed ur BPs?! I'm feeding mine a mouse every 7-8 days but I might switch to every 5 days if that's not bad:cool:

You can tell, you just gotta know your snakes. Mine do different things. Some roam around looking for food, some sit perched at their hide door looking out, some try and flip their water dishes, etc.

I offer every 7 days. I currently have 3 off food, and one eats every other week, but still offer every 7 days.

I can tell my bp is hungry because she starts to roam earlier in the day than Normal. If she recently fed she will roam out of her hide around 11ish but if she's hungry she's out and about around 8pm.
My dumerils if she recently ate is always curled under her water bowl. If she's hungry she always has he nose sticking out of the bedding waiting for a tasty little morsel to come by :)

x2 to Satomi. I feed every 5 days until 500 grams then once 7-10 days after.

there's more to it than how often you feed. hatchlings get feed more than adults and females get feed more than males. females who just laid will usually eat more to get back to a normal weight. and so on. so for me it depends on the snake.

i think it's kind of hard to over feed a ball. if they're not hungry they won't eat. one of my girls is still stuck on mice and we're trying to get her up to size by next season. i've always been able to tell when she's hungry because she'll just chill there with her head stickin out of her hide. when she's not hungry she'll be way in the back of her hide, but EVERY time she has her head hanging out, she'll eat. sometimes i'll feed her 2 mice on feed day, she'll refuse the third one, and then she'll be hangin her head out of her hide 2 days later ready to eat some more. lol

Depends on the snake. My babies grew 50-100 g a month.
Once I had 4 female hatchings born in the same month that were fed on the same schedule. The oldest is the smallest. The youngest outgrew the other 3 by double the first year.
The older 3 averaged at about 500 g by year 1. The youngest was at 1200g at the same time.
Every snake is different.

My girls are averaging just south of 100g a month. In the upper eighties, lower nineties.

There's a system to it I'm sure there is! My balls have their own system going tho an my carpet is a whole other story she's a dumpster then shell not eat for a month just as she wants. The balls I try an go between 5-7 days since last feed to offer then once the refuses start I go to once a week offering or until they are begging lol. I write everything down and it makes some sense to me. I found a calender program that I can set variable "every x days" on. So, I have a notification event every 5 days for the girls and every 7 for everyone else. It works out, so that's all I care about.
