How long have you waited?

Currently, I'm (not so patiently) awaiting the arrival of my 2nd clutch. My girl is at 32 days after her pre-lay shed. I've heard numbers tossed around from everywhere from 27-40 days. What's the longest you've waited? I really hope she doesn't make me go another week!! :taz::taz:

35 days each for two girls my first year.

Waiting for my 2nd clutch and its currently on day 30 and counting! I am getting pretty excited because she is looking huge and I think she has about 8 in her!

I'm at day 28.. I check her tub like 3 times a day now XD So anxious!!!! This is my first clutch.. I really hope she doesn't hold out much longer. She has been in a perfect coil for almost a week.

Still waiting for ovy and a pre-lay shed myself! Good luck and I hope that they come soon.

Checking mine numerous times a day. I have three girls building and its driving me crazy and I love it. I have one girl that is so big and in blue she is staying mostly on the hot side of her tub but I don't think she has ovulated yet. I'm hoping this will be her per ovy shed or something.

1.1 pastels, 1.0 lesser, 0.1 het blurry, 0.1 spider, 1.1 norm. 0.1 dinker,

I thought i was due for eggs any day now....... then.......... my girl just went into pre lay shed......... so I'm going on 28 days now.... +shed time.... +28 days......

I'm awaiting my 2nd clutch as well. Last year she went exactly 30 days after prelay shed. Shes due April 6th or 7 the so if she doesn't lay saturday or Sunday she will officially be over last years time.Tho I'm not entirely rushing her, I'm sure she'll be glad to have those eggs out of her as much as I would,so she can start throwin back the rats again :P

even with the ultrasound, I watch for the ovulation and the per lay shed. mine usually goes around the 30 day mark. when they get real close to the 30 days is when I'm looking at the end of the tail, how it looks so small when they really swell right above before laying. good luck hope it's soon! don

Longest was 52 days POS that's 66 days after ovy ;)

Shortest was 29 days POS

this year I have given up on waiting. LOL
My girls are driving me crazy.

X2 for my 2nd clutch. I hope I dont have to wait much longer. :taz:

It only happened once....but 61. I thought she may be egg bound, but seemed normal so I let her be. She eventually laid a good clutch.

And the waiting stops on day 37! I got my second clutch today! Woot! :banana:

This year I had a girl give me one slug 29 days after her prelay and then about 13 days later she laid 4 good eggs.

Mine just laid 7 eggs this morning for her first season. 25 days after pre-lay shed, Exactly where I had it marked on the calendar that she was due which was pretty epic lol!

Hi.

I´m new here. And have been looking for info about when to get worried.
This is my first year breeding ball pythons and waiting for my first clutch.

I have a spider female that I´m waiting for to lay her eggs. And I´m going crazy.
She is 42 days after her pre-lay shed.
And a pastel female that is 14 days after shed and a fire female that shed last sunday.

After reading threads here on how long it takes for the female to lay her eggs did´t relaxe me at all.

When do I need to get worried?

For my one and only clutch, my girl laid on the morning of day 27.

My girls had me wait till day 38 and 39 this year!

My first season and first clutch was laid 44 days after pre lay shed and got 2 on 19 days and patiently waiting for eggs lol

Finally. Got my first clutch ever from my spider. She made me sweat and wait for 44 days. But this morning when I went to work she was having her clutch.
Came home a while a go and put the eggs in the incubator. There were 9 fine eggs waiting for me. :-)

Same here- and this is only my first year.... 28 and 34 days today for my first 2 girls. Still waiting on 3 ovy's and maybe a 4th!!

Longest is 60 days after pre lay shed. Shortest was during prelay shed. Most are right around 30-35 days for me though. Those two were extremes and both girls all other times had normal times.

I had a girl lay on 44 days after. :mad: Day 30 is my normal average.
