Ok I'm gunna be honest.... This WHOLE time I thought Robyn was a girl! I just assumed robyn was chads wife. Huh, well that saved me from a potential awkward situation. I could see myself contacting SYR about shipping a snake and asking where robyn was and if I could speak to HER lol...

I was named after my great uncle Robin P. Hood. No lie - his name was Robin Hood. And his son? His son was named John. Little John....

Robin is more commonly a male name over in Europe.

Very nice article Judy, you write well. I am a little sad though that Chad and Robyn won't be involved in live animal sales anymore, they did produce some very nice animals and I was always interesting in seeing the new stuff being created. I do love the Reptile Report though, now I can see all of the newest stuff in one spot from websites and forums I never even knew existed.

Great article but I'm so very very sad to hear they are not going to be working with the lizards anymore. I regarded them as the THE pinnacle of monitors and to know it will no longer be... I am sad.

I agree with the others that it is sad to see Chad and Robyn getting out of working with live animals directly, BUT "The Reptile Report" is possibly one of the best things I have seen in awhile! Getting updates and being able to see different things from every part and branch of this great hobby; and bringing it all together in one place!
I must say Chad and Robyn have done MANY great things for this industry and I look forward to seeing what they have in store for us next!

Dun feel bad mike.... I walked up to the booth at Tinley park and asked to speak to HER >_< I got this very odd stare and twice I was told that Robyn was a guy and I didn't believe it... Lol...

Great article! I corner Robyn at almost every Tinley show and I'm sure he's like who is this crazy lady and why does she keep talking to me. He's such an awesome guy! I love the reptile report and ship your reptiles. Two very unique very necessary parts of the herp community! I've learned so much about other species through trr! I look forward to it in my Facebook feed everyday! Keep up the GREAT work guys! :)

I am also guilty of thinking Robyn was a girl at first. It was never my pleasure to meet a male Robyn or Robin. Outside of legend anyway.

I had the pleasure of speaking to Robyn at the Tinley show right after the fire. It was a bit of an emotional time for both of us, but I came away with a deep respect for this man and his friends and what they did before and do now. I was very flattered to find myself featured on the Reptile Report, and now I know I have Judy to thank for that as well as Robyn and Chris!

I am very sad they won't be getting back into ball pythons, but I think that they are moving forward to bigger and better things now. However, the offer of any baby I produce that they like as a gift still stands, Bruce is right, just because you don't breed doesn't mean you can't have a pet or two, right?

Yea, this happens to me quite often. My name is Stacy and I am a guy. My wifes name is Cory so often times people will think I am Cory and she is Stacy. lol :colbert:
