why no 41 quart tub dividers?

I see all these 28 and 32 quart tub dividers they make, why not for 41 quart tubs?? Anybody got home made ones they can show off?

Nobody else has thought about this? Lol

The other tubs slide sideways and the heat tape goes along the long side, the 41 quart go in long ways and the heat tape goes along a short side.

I understand this, I mean divide the tubs longways. Just like they do for the 32 quart

I don't see the point. The 41qt tubs are already not that wide.

They are wider than 30 quart tubs in iris sweater racks and they divide them! The point is so you can have two smaller snakes in one tube rather than having to have different size racks for a handful of snakes.

I have a 41qt rack that the tubs slide in sideways ;)

41 qt tubs split down the middle would be a waste of space because at that point a 32 or 28qt tubs would be a better choice, imo.

Wouldn't it be better though for a couple small females that will need that big of a tub eventually rather than having two diff sized racks for 4 or 5 snakes?

I have raised hatchlings in 41qt tubs, if you only want one rack for that many snakes, go for it.

The hatchlings i've kept in 41qt tubs ate like nobodies business, don't let anyone make you believe they NEED the smallest space possible.
The only snakes that don't do well in big tubs are shy snakes, and if they don't do well then add a few hides and a couple branches or vines for hiding in.

I have some rbi sweaterbox racks with the dividers. these tubs are no where as long as a 41 qt. and yes you can do it. but the warning is that you can pinch a snake under the divider when opening and closing the tubs. and this can be a serious injury to a young snake. I only use my dividers when I have no other choice. and they work great if you're careful and know the pinch risk. a longer run with the divider as in a 41 qt tub = a greater risk of a snake getting under the divider when closing the tub.

AGREED I add a cut in half cereal box and they love it no problems at all if that doesn't work I add small vines anything to make them feel comfortable haven't had a single problem yet
