Mind your business, Boys, this is Girl talk!
I don't have cable because I think it's the biggest load of overpriced crap since $126 yoga pants. I'm not really "addicted" to a lot of current shows. I basically just find a series on Netflix and watch it in the evenings until I'm done with it and then I find something else.

Unfortunately, I found Teen Mom. There's a Teen Mom 2 too. I'm not proud of it, but we're all friends here, right? Anyway- does anyone else watch this? If so, would anyone like to kick in a few bucks toward my "Order a Hit on Amber Fund"?

I'm 35 years old and I had my daughter when I was 23 and already married (not knocked up at the wedding), it's not like I can relate to these girls! I don't know what the hell my problem is, I can't stop watching it! I've gone as far as I can with Teen Mom 2 until the new episodes are posted (Hey, it's the 21st! They're on mtv.com now!) and I'm on the season finale of season two of Teen Mom....but I'll be done with that season in about 52-68 minutes, depending on how long it takes me to finish this nonsense.

Where are these girls getting the money to rent nice apartments and wear nice clothes?? None of my high school teen mom friends drove brand new freaking Chargers while unemployed! My furniture right now isn't as nice as most of theirs! And half of them have braces. Do you know how much braces cost? A lot! And why doesn't Dr Drew ever tell Farrah that she's a spoiled princess who should be thanking her overbearing mother instead of crying all the damn time that mommy's "annoying"?? All these questions!

Thanks for letting me vent. I'd love to hear about anyone else's shameful television addictions!

Do you really watch Teen Mom? Please don't let that be sarcasm!
Do you think just this one time, in this one case, it would be ok if Gary chose to grab Amber by her nappy head and say, "Seriously, skank, call me a fat ass ONE more time! Please. Do it!"?

gary and amber have a cute little girl, leah who will be forever messed up when her mom comes back from prison. Farrahs mom got arrested for battery against her own daughter. farrah calls her dad Michael. bently will grow up with all the off road vehicles he can imagine but his mom and dad need to grow the eff up. why the hell are carley's parents still on the show???

DUDE! Did you miss the part where I said that I'm only on Season Two?? I didn't know AmberCrazyWhore went to prison, ruiner! I can't say I'm not thrilled though. Leah IS super cute, cutest kid on the show in my opinion.

Farrah does have a positively pitiful cry face. I think I may have actually chuckled the first time I saw it. I'm sure I regretted it wholeheartedly, but it just caught me off guard. Come to think of it, Amber has a really bad cry face too. But she's usually faking it, and her face sucks anyway so I'm sure that doesn't help either.

Wow. I really thought I might be the only person in the world who watches Teen Mom!

I'm forced to watch it by my fiancé. Honestly I could kill amber, Farrah, and jeanel or however you spell her name. Her and Keifer....I mean seriously they are more annoying than amber and Gary. I'm ashamed to say this but I have recently become addicted to the show "buck wild"... :x

Never seen Teen Mom but..... I'm in love with America's Next Top Model. I really don't look like an ANTM fan, but I've watched every season (and there's been 19). I don't usually watch t.v. shows, but I make an exception for my gurl Tyra. She's just so beautiful and strong and batpoop crazy... I can't help it. The girls are all so dumb and the other judges are so fabulous.

Now you all know my secret. Be gentle with it.

My fiance's friend knows Jenelle and said that as long as the show is running the girls get paid 8k a month. The parents and boyfriends get paid something too but I can't remember how much. I think it was like 2k a month whenever a episode aired with them in it.

No it doesn't. It makes me sad that I don't have girl parts and can't become a teen mom. $8K a month to be a dumb slut is a pretty good gig imo.

True, but knowing you have less money and still have your stuff together better than them has to count for something. Give it another 2 years and you will hear about these girls being broke and living back with their parents because it is obvious none of them are saving a dime and they are getting use to a life style that will quickly disappear once the show finds a new group of dumb sluts.

Edit: plus you would have a lot of competition now that all these 16 year old girls are trying to get pregnant just so they can try to get on this show, so you would have to be a REALLY dumb slut... lol

I used to watch the O.C. and was totally captivated by it. Then it got put down; thank god for that... I am finally free from pity parade a show!
I am on the Netflix tip now too, watch Dexter, Family Guy, American Dad, Fringe, other random nonsense.

I don't like most reality T.V. because it is all crap. I can't imagine Teen Mom is any better then the rest of the reality garbola that is out there, but I feel your shame.

I used to watch teen mom then I stopped when I was yelling at the tv b/c the girls are true idiots and I wanted to slap some sense into all of them. I am however addicted to anime on cruchyroll and hulu. We got rid of our cable and have those plus netflix. Much cheeper!! I have found that I am however addicted to a specific type of anime though, shoujo anime.

So I'll be buzz killington here. No, I don't watch it. I refuse to watch anything that glorifies being a snotty brat who can't keep her legs together as a teenager, and expects everything handed to her on a silver platter.

I also refuse to watch other crap like jersey shore, toddler's and tiaras, etc. Basically any of the garbage that promotes kids/people acting like cancers on society and being praised for it.

Even if you don't "like" the shows, it's like watching a train wreck. You just can't look away because you want to see what stupid thing/act will happen next. I refuse to give them ratings and notoriety for it.

The "teen mom" epidemic in teenage culture today is sickening. I have seen personally the effect of this heinous show on teen girls (idiotic teen girls mind you, but teen girls nontheless) who are TRYING to get pregnant to get on the show. My pediatrician for my daughters talked to me about it, and how he had 3 girls that week come in who were under 16 and admitted to being sexually active, not using protection, because they wanted to get on the show. 3. in a week. We are not a huge town by any means. That is just scary and sad.

So no, I won't watch it. I hope the ratings die and they pull the show.

Yes, there is a high likelihood that you are correct! Forget being pregnant, my daughter would talk to me like those chicks talk to their parents one time, and I guarantee she wouldn't complete the sentence. The key is to make sure they know that long before getting knocked up and drugs and drinking are even on their radar.
