    New ARS 7010 is here!
Well we had the delivery setup for this morning and somehow with 4 people here at the house this morning we supposedly missed the delivery driver!?
So after talking to the delivery company, getting the day off of work and not wanting to deal with them "trying" to deliver the rack again I devided to go pick it up.
The best part is I got myself a nice speeding ticket on the way to pick it up!
Anyways on to the good part, the pics!
First pic is it in the back of our Scion Xb! Love how much space these cars have for how small they look from the outside.

And the next 2 are it in the house put together.

Now we just have to get it setup and tested for a couple days and we can start moving some animals into it.
We also got all the parts we needed from Vision to convert 1 of our 7 high V-70 racks into our new hatchling rack.
I will update this thread and post more pics as everything progresses this week and weekend!

    Nice! Great rack!
Sucks about the ticket, but at least a good ending.

    Thanks!
Yeah luckily here in AZ you can go to a Defensive Drivers class once every 2 years for a Civil Traffic ticket and it's been 4 or 5 for me so I just have to pay for the class and not the $280 fine!

Very nice! Yea, taking the classes is goods so you don't have points on your license. Still sucks. Drive safe, our cops don't play.

    Thanks Raul!
Quick question for you or anyone else with a 7010, I was wondering how/where you have your thermostat probe attached?
I have an idea of how I'm going to do it, but there isn't alot of room on the sides of the tubs to attach it. So I wanted to see if there was a better way.
If you happen to have any pics that would be great!
    And thanks in advance.

I attach my Tstat probe on the underside of the heating element directly on the heat tape, then I check the inside tub temps with gun or thermometer probe on the inside of the tub right where the heating element is. The Tstat setting may be a few degrees higher than the actual temp in tubs.

Well we finally had time to get the new rack setup and tested for a couple days and just got it moved into the reptile room and the snakes moved into it!
Here are a couple pics of the rack and then a few of the main reptile room!

And our rat setup on the other side of the room.

We have the 32 tub rack for the breeders and maturnity tubs. The 7 high rack on the right is the ASF rack and then in the background of a couple of the ARS rack pics you can see the 6 high growout rack.

We got the 7 high Vision V-70 rack taken apart and are getting it cleaned up.
We should have to back together on Friday or Saturday and will get some more pics up of it and the rest of our setup in the other room this weekend!

Congratulations! ARS racks are fantastic racks. I love mine. Cleaning is easier, the snakes breed well and they are easy to care for.

Definately like the ARS racks. And thats a nice setup you have going. Just curious, but is there a reason your not using some sort of watering system fot the rodents verses the bottles?

We used to have auto water on one of our 7 highs, but after a couple of incidents where I messed up and forgot to reopen the valve on the 5-gallon bucket and lost several of our breeders I decided I didn't want auto water(As our breeding grows I am considering using it again, but we will see). Plus the bottles aren't that much work and it gives me an excuse to spend alittle extra time checking on and playing with the ratties!

Between last night and tonight we were able to get the old 7 high V-70 cleaned up and converted into our new hatchling rack!
We are able to run 40 V-18's, 60 V-15's or any combo of them we may need.

Now we just have to get it tested and ready for some babies!

Got the hatchling rack all wired up. Just have to get the temps dialed in and it will be ready!
Here it is next to alittle dresser we use for a work station and storage for supplies.
    http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0e2f84ab.jpg

And here you can see our Leopard Gecko rack on the left and the rack we are using for QT. The few animals that are currently in it will be in the main collection by the time we have hatchlings and then we will use the rack for extra space as a hatchling/growout rack.
    http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0e86400e.jpg

Last but not least is the Incubator! All fired up with a couple of test tubs in it to make sure everything is dialed in for when we get our first clutch in 2-3 weeks!
