    New lesser woma girl
Got this little lady today at the Lone Star show.I was going to save money for when the new babies hatch out this summer, but you guys know how the addiction goes. This is not a combo I would ever see myself with. Lessers are pretty and womas are "okay", but I really love how this girl looks.. She is so creamy looking and has some awesome striping. Light yellow color and cool fading. She also has sweet and curious disposition. I'd love to hear what you think of her. Here she is.

Awesome!!! I love how clean the head is. Her whole body is clean actually lol, but I really like how the head has nothing on it. Great blushing too! :gj:

She's gorgeous but she looks like a desert lesser to me :weirdface.. Have you seen the woma lessers/butters on WOBP? None of them look like this snake :(.. I hope someone isn't trying to sell their desert females as something they're not in order to get a sale..

    Ok..so um...yea.
Either that is quite literally the first woma lesser I've ever seen that has been amazing
    Or...
there is desert in that beauty...
    http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...t-lesser-woma/

Notice the eye stripes connecting to the side pattern? similar to yours... also the overall coloration and cleanliness. Now look here
    http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/lesser-woma/

I hope I'm wrong, I really do, because that is a beauty...but if I were a betting woman, I would say there be desert in that there snake.

Edit: we're all just throwing guesses obviously, and only the breeder knows for sure...but if she wasn't from a reputable table, I would start making some calls/emails just in case.

Well, what would you advise me to do first? The breeder at the expo said it was a friend's snake. Should I contact him with my concerns or should I try to get these pictures out to breeders that work with deserts and womas etc. to get more details? I would like to know how to firmly but professionally approach this in order to hopefully make it right. I am quite concerned about this, as it was not a $20 snake. If this snake was not what was labeled The BOI will sure hear about it. But, I am trying not to freak out too much.

Really feeling like a fool if this a desert lesser. I saw some pictures of some of NERD's lesser womas that look similiar to her, but she does look suspiciously like a desert after research.

I'm betting she's a desert lesser. I suggest you make some calls/e-mails ASAP. Just say she isn't what you bought her as... If the person says it IS, ask for proof. If there isn't adequate proof, demand your money back. If there are complications, take it to the BOI for some potential solutions. I don't regularly recommend the BOI since some people are just ridiculous, but just weed through it until you get some reasonable solutions.. Sorry buddy :(

It might be a good idea to ask a few big breeders their opinions as well. Look for breeders who are familiar with both lesser deserts, and lesser womas. I think she's a lesser desert woma personally, but that is not the point.

Definitely contact who you purchased from. Ask what the pairing was, if they have pics of that and clutch pics. If they don't, ask for the original breeder's info. Let the seller know what your concerns are. Don't get angry, just try and get the info. If they get defensive after hearing your concerns...good chance they knew about it.

Most breeders should be willing to return money/take back the animal if the customer is not happy, for any reason.

But yea, definitely get more opinions.

Geez sorry that happened to you. Hopefully it was an honest mistake by the seller because it would be really disappointing if they intentionally misrepresented the animal like that. They should refund you and also give you some sort of credit/discount for the inconvenience they caused you.

She is so beautiful though is disheartening that deserts are the way they are because that snake is just stunning :gj:

I am going now to meet the seller for a refund. He has been very kind and accommodating and is meeting me. He was very apologetic and said he should have double checked instead if labeling her with the info given. All seems well. I will miss the little beauty though. I get emotionally attached really quickly. I had already named her Popcorn :(. But it must be done.

I'm glad to hear he's being stand up about it. Looks like it was just a goof up on the sellers part. I'm sorry she wasn't what you thought, but at least you figured it out quickly and got iit resolved.

They should have let you keep the snake! Who cares if she can't breed, I would love to have a girl like that in my rack.

All is well. The seller was very very sweet and even drove a good distance to meet me. He did a stand up thing and I want to thank everyone on here for helping me in this situation! I have an awesome reptile family!

Beautiful snake, Do they hold their color as they age?? The example on WOBP's website is nowhere near that pretty.

Sounds like the breeder made an honest mistake and went out of his/her way to make it right. That is a breeder I would do business with...service is EVERYTHING. Besides, we're all human and make mistakes. Good luck!

Shoot I would have at least asked for money back that you over paid and kept the snake! I've never seen such a clean ball before! Besides some platinum's on another forum
