2 gene male to mojave female. What would you get?
Well I'm getting a mojave female from a good friend of mine for a very low price. She's only around 100 grams so It will be a few years before I breed her.
I'm going to repticon in April and want to find her a nice, young, 2 gene male as her future boyfriend. I don't want to spend more than 400$ at the show, but I'm still stumped on which 2 gener to get. I was thinking maybe either a bumblebee or a pewter. So if you could get a 2 gene male to breed to a mojave, what would it be?!

    What do you guys like?!

Bumblebee sounds like a good choice for your price range. A Spinner or Lemon Blast would make some great combos too. None of which are real Bank Breakers to acquire.

$400 will limit you... OR will it...

So lets see 1 or 2 genes in that ballpark:

    Super Pastel
    Pastave
    Cinnamon Spotnose
    Pastel Enchi
    Lemon Blast
    Calico
    VPI Axanthic
    POG
    Hypo Mojave
    Hypo Lesser
    Fire
    etc...

Now I'm thinking a male bumblebee to a female butter.. That would make some hot combos

Black Pewter. Black Pastel Mojaves are awesome. Not to mention Black Pewter Mojaves. And you can get pastaves too.

    Hi,

Well if she is only 100g I wouldn't get a male for her unless you have females that might be ready to breed this year.

Males are ready to breed a lot younger than females and, with the prices dropping every year, you will probably get the same male you are looking at for half the price just by waiting.

personally I'd get another female just now. :gj:

I'm not sure if this matters much, but should I get 2 single gene females, or 1 double gene female? Would there be any advantage of doing one over the other?

True. I'm going to get 2 females, possibly a butter and something else. I definitely want a butter in my plans, and for my second I might save up for a double gene girl.

Well it's official I believe, I'm getting 2 females, a butter and a mojave. My friend is giving me a great deal. And since it takes them about two years to be ready to breed, I'm going to save up for a nice 3 gene male :gj:

Congrats! Sounds awesome, those are both pretty morphs that I wish I had the room and money for, ha ha! I'd get 3 of everything if I could afford it in any sense...

if you get a butter(/lesser) and a mojave, i would suggest a male that also has a gene from the blue eye lucy complex. For potion stuff. black pastel mojave would be awesome, but i dont know the prices so well. i just like all these combos with 2 genes from the BEL complex. something with mystic/phantom in it would also fit in well.
