Hypomelanism is simply my very favorite simple recessive trait in ball python morphs. I will start with my all time fave Fire Hypo :crazy:

We have been concentrating on our albino and clown projects mostly, but we produced this stellar black pastel 50% pos het hypo male 2 years ago and decided to grab a female hypo to prove him out.

The hypo is a captive-hatched 2010 female, I have no idea if she'll prove compatible with the usual orange ghost lines. But she sure is purty.

As soon as it warms up i wanna get some outdoor shots of her to show off her colors better. Shes a great eater and has the best personality out of all my bps. In the future i hope to mix hypo with; pied, clown, cinny, fire, mojo... Etc.

Thanks! She was pretty hardcore as a baby. I saw a picture post from some reptile show and saw just a tiny bit of her in the corner of a picture. I recognized BHBs style of labeling on the displays, called Brian 23 seconds later, bought her and arranged to pick her up at NARBC. It's been love every since :love:

Hypo was the first morph I fell in love with, but it took a few years to finally get one... his name is Hamlet, a "plain old" Orange Ghost boy. I need to get some updated pics, because he's a FAT sausage now! Once today's meal is digested, I'll do a new photo session. :gj:

Just got this girl today, and she's my first recessive morph! Sitting at about 300 grams, I can't wait to see how her colors change as she grows. Someone posted they'd take a pic each time their hypo shed, I will be doing the same:). I also have a 1000 gram black pastel poss het hypo in shed.
