I love the noises piggies make. One we used to have had this cooey/purr noise she would make when she saw you. Sweet little piggies!

Lol most people live them or hate them. I happen to find them adorable. They have great attitudes also. They make all kinds of sqeauls and purrs. The skinnys are really ticklish so you get lots of squeaks when you pet them. The haired ones seem to purr more.

thanks & So sorry about the allergies. even allergic to the skinnys? guess I wont be marketing them as hypo-allergenic. lol. Yeah Its all about quality breeding with the skinnys. The key is not to keep breeding skinny to skinny generation after generation. the f2 skinny should really taken back to a het skinny or to a haired pig to produce more hets. the longer down the line you go breeding skinny x skinny the worse looking they get. and of course only breeding selective stock really eliminates the hairy ones.

I'm allergic to my cat, but she only gives me watery eyes. The guinea pigs really bother my asthma as well.
most people with pet allergies are allergic to the dander. animals with out hair/feathers generally produce less dander. so people tend to call hairless pets hypo-allergenic. It is not entirely true as even hairless pets do produce dander just in a much lower amount. So if your allergies are really bad with a haired pig a skinny would probably bother you also but not as much..... hmmm... sounds good but I have no idea if its 100% true just what i've heard lol.

Nice pics... learned something new today since I didn't know there were naked guinea pigs. I love naked kitties, not too fond of the dogs though some are cute but they just feel weird to me. :P I had to look at Fozzy again, thought there was a pic mix up since he looks more like a hamster.

Yep she did. Sadly she's no longer with us. She had complications with her last litter and we didn't make it to the vet in time. ;(

Lol yea he was only 3 weeks old in that pic and I've heard that a couple times but I assure you he is a skinny gene carrier guinea pig.
