Getting My First Snake Ever Today!!!! What do you think of her?

Hi everyone I'm new to the herp game I'm getting my first snake today. Should be here bye 10:30 central time being I live In Houston. I'm so pumped up been doing research for about 5 months.And now the time has come, I'm getting a female Pastel from Rob at designer ball pythons. He was a real nice guy.This girl is 254 grams hatched 9-1-12. Im useing the stand alone tub idea from the sticky on this site. I'm not sure how to post pics and vids so If someone will be nice and tell me I can show her to you also have a video from the breeder thanks for stopping by.

Lol not sure yet I might go with a fire because i Like the firefly's or a Mojave to make some Pastave.

She's gorgeous!!! We just got our first BP too!! About a month ago, we got a male pastel from LLL. He's about 260g now. Can't wait to see your pics!! Does she have a name yet? Ours is Lego....my 6 year old son named him. Lol.

Yeah I can wait to feed her she was fed live rat pups but I'm gonna switch her to f/t. And no I Do not have a name for her yet any ideas?

Btw, I love the little 'Y' she has right behind her head! As for names, our dogs are named after places we've been: (Big) Sky, Possum (Kingdom), Telly (Telluride)....my son is a Lego fanatic....etc... So, what hobbies do you have? Places you like to go? Etc...that has always helped me pick names....

Her colors make me think of make-up. How about Lipstick, Powder, or Blush?

Talk about some serious head blushing for just a pastel! I thought that she was a super at first until I looked more closely at the rest of the body. Congrats and best of luck with her. My first was a pastel, too.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you! It's really difficult to weed through all the info out on the Internet and get trustworthy advice. Reading through this forum has been a real source if information and has helped ease my anxiety about how best to care for my first snake ... A 3yr old normal ball. We are getting along great.

Shes a beautiful pastel, great bright color!
