In my collection thread I said that my calico is a bit testy sometimes and tries to eat fingers. Here is a video to prove it lol. Enjoy. http://youtu.be/c7LMBjkqFco

This is what i thought of too lol. Except i was thinking more of a D end. Like when they get down in the stance you'll see their hand shaking or their ankle bouncing lol.

    Shes feisty!

so here's a little method you can try. Place a t-shirt you've worn in there with him for a few hrs, then try picking him up, if he's still feisty, simply drop a shirt of top of his head them pick him up quickly, he'll calm down once you pick him up

Here's my method for a snake that size, say "calm down sassy pants" and proceed to pick it up.

    ROID RAGE!

I've had 8 snakes in the last 3 years and never had an aggressive one. I don't know what I'm missing. lol

lol Thank you for the good laugh! I've never seen anything like that tail wag before. Damn you'd think you just told him he's going to the vet or something. :P

I really hate saying that an upset animal is cute, but that is adorable! I've never seen a ball python do that before. I've had a few encounters with wild colubrids that have put on that show, but it looks so different with a python. Thanks for the video!

I tend to have snakes from a particular breeder that are awfully FIESTY!!

I don't mind it and with a little working with they eventually become fairly sweet.

Good video that has worked for me with several hatchlings..... working on my latest 2 now. A few minutes a couple times a week and they are settling down. I do hear a "thud" when I walk past their rack sometimes. They will still strike at me through the tub!!

The beginning was funny. They're like mouse traps. One goes and sets off all the rest.

Crazy thing is, he is a picky eater. Me more what's the rat to go away then eat it. I tried explaining to him that if he eats it the rat WILL go away, but he doesn't listen. Lol

Haha, yeah they never seem to understand that if they just eat the pesky thing, it will stop bothering them. The last time I tried to feed my picky pastel girl, the rat got bored and decided he wanted to ride around on her back like she was a choo-choo train....and for the life of her, she couldn't figure out why she couldn't get away from him no matter where she went. So round and round the tub they went lol
