Golden shower!!

Just had my first one thanks to my Yellow Belly. I was sitting on the couch with her on my chest when suddenly I felt wet on my stomach & arm. I picked her up & urine was streaming out of her. luckily I got her to her tube before the urates popped out. I never knew how much urine came out before today. Usually I know they go when their paper is yellow & the urates are sitting in there.

Yea they can pee a lot. My little lemonback male once decided to pee on my friend and she held him out at arms length, he peed like a freaking person, it just kept going. I still don't know how that little snake had that much liquid in him.

When I took my first snake to the vet, I put him in a pillowcase then set him in a Rubbermaid. It was warm and I recall this weird smell but I didn't think of it.

When I got to the vet, I went to grab him and yeah he was sitting in like 5cm of pee :/

He got to ride in my purse on the way home ahaha

LOL! Never had a snake pee on me yet, but I do call my asf line the "golden shower line" because they pee everywhere when I pick them up. :rofl:

My corn snake pees/poops on me every single time I handle her for more than a minute or so. I learned to just keep a 'burp rag' ready. She's no little worm either, she's a large adult female corn snake.

I don't know why, but I was thinking of golden geckos before I opened this thread. I guess not though. :|

I've never had my snake piss on me; I didn't even know it went beyond uric acid pellets.

oh yes! it was a steady stream for about 10 seconds. all over me the couch & carpet. good times. guess thats one way to tell they arent dehydrated.

Getting peed on seems to be a weekly occurrence for me :tears: And I can never forget the time once pooped on my mums brand new couch. Oooooopsies.

lol gotta love it when they do that. I think my favorite one was while my old burm was being probed, two people were holding her and she peed across the room, into this guys eye lol
