Auto Enthusiasts?
Just wondering if there are any other auto enthusiasts on this forum?

I have an automotive engineering degree, and love spending time in the garage wrenching on my vehicle(s).

My current ride:
https://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net...39699980_n.jpg
A 2007 Subaru WRX Limited
Mods: Carbon Fibre hood, Projector headlights, Mishimoto aluminum racing radiator with red silicone hoses, 18x9 Rota G-Force wheels, and Greddy catback exhaust.

Other vehicles I have owned: a 1980 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck with a 350 small block and turbo 350 transmission with a B&M shift plate(had a lot of work done to it but couldn't afford the fuel bill for it anymore) :(

I currently also have a 1969 Chrysler New Yorker project car that was my grandfather's. He bought it new and it is still all original.

Just wondering if anyone else likes their vehicles, 2 and 4 wheels included.

I'm a bit of a auto enthusiast.

My grandfather has an old 1933 Ford Model A that we completely rebuilt/restored. It's got a rumble seat and everything.

It was a multigenerational project was a ton of fun. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the engine, or interior but we kept everything as stock as possible.

I'm currently driving a 2011 Mercedes C300 sports sedan and really like it, though I think I'll be going with a BMW next time around. The new 4 series Coupe looks amazing.

Can't beat the all wheel drive of a Subaru, especially in the snow. ;)

That's a really great looking Model A. Can't beat the memories made when doing a multi-generational resto like that either.

I just got this 2010 F150 Platinum 4x4 with only 3200 miles. An old man traded it in and it was garage kept. I put my Moto Metal wheels wrapped with 33x12.50 :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: Cepek FC-II, MBRP stainless turndown exhaust, Airaide cool air intake, and a Edge CS programmer.

With the mods it gets better mileage than the 07 F150 Lariat I traded. Running about 15 city and 17-18 highway, if I'm good.

I also have an 07 Victory Tour with aftermarket fairing with 4 speaker stereo, stage one kit, pipes, S&S intake, and enough chrome to keep you busy for a weekend.

WOW, THE NAME BRAND OF MY TIRES GOT CENSORED. That's funny!

That would be a very interesting job! I have always wanted a two wheeler and have been looking at a Triumph Daytona 675 for a couple years, but seeing as there is only 6 months of riding weather here in Canada I haven't yet pulled the trigger on the purchase until I get my finances up to snuff.

This is me pimpin' what's left of my boyfriend's CTS after I pimped it into a cement barrier (twice) a couple of weeks ago. He wasn't that mad. He's graciously offered to replace it with any car I want up to $1000.
I like all of yours! But it doesn't look like any of them are in my budget.

At least it wasn't a CTS-V. That would truly be a tragedy. :D

Funny you say that, I've been begging for a V. He says, "I've ridden with you and you're lucky you're not driving a '95 Neon. Be happy with what you have." Ha ha!

I wouldn't call myself an enthusiast, but I am passionate about my car and love Mustangs. I have a Saleen supercharged '05 Mustang GT with a full exhaust system and cosmetic mods (drop, aftermarket body kit with spoiler, 19" chrome Bremmas that I want to change out to a staggerd set of black Bullitts, and a custom paintjob that I actually completed myself). I've done auto body repair and custom paintwork but moved on to pursue other career interests.

There are some good looking cars out there.

One other vehicle I forgot to mention that I had a part in. In University I was part of a group of 18 4th year students who designed and built a race car.

We used a 599cc engine from a Honda motorcycle, and designed and manufactured pretty much the rest of the car including: chassis, suspension, braking system, body, etc. This is one of my team members in the driver's seat (above).

The team at an autocross event. The car was capable of 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds, and 1.4 lateral g's in corners.

Me in the seat with the body off for some testing.

The best 14 months of my life were spent on this car, and then when I graduated we had to leave the car in the incapable hands of the university faculty :(

On topic: I see your cages and 2 wheels and raise you 1 that flies through the air (albeit sometimes I'm not attached to it...)
