I was curious if anyone had a BP tattoo to share? For years I've wanted a tribal armband tattoo, but since getting into snakes I thought a BP tattoo would be cool - especially if it was made into an arm band.

It seems most snake toattoos I find depict the snakes as mean.

as soon as i can afford a tattoo (i don't want no bs, i want the hotness), i'm going with some form of a bp's pattern somewhere on me. I was thinking of just getting a bp on my arm, but the arm band idea is cool. I just wanna' never forget where my true love for herps began.

Hehe true that - can always count on masculine overcompensation (BIG DAWG RAWWR NO FEAR HURRRF).

I am overdue for a new tat - trying to work a BP design for a shirt currently (spare time being not so spare) - I'll surely share the results.

I think any good tattoo artist would be able to replicate the patterns on a bp if he/she had a good subject to pull from. Thats a pretty cool idea, unique! It would also be very special if you used your own bp's patterns in the tat!

I would think this would be a pretty expensive tattoo as well. Different colors, complicated outline; I would go speak with them prior to actually getting it. They may not have the exact colors on hand, but could probably order them for you. Like i said, sounds expensive, but very cool as well.

I am going w/my friend soon to get another tattoo as I've been wanting a new one for the past few yrs. but haven't been able to come up w/something I really like. I was just thinking last week how kewl a tribal armband BP design would be (I've always wanted a tribal armband design however, just thought of the BP motif last week)......guess all us snake people sorta think alike....if I find anything kewl, I'll let you know. I think I'm going to have my hubby design mine for me though.

One of my next tatts is going to be either Atreyu wrapped around my ankle going up my calf....or Bastian wrapped around my wrist going up my forearm.

Anyone care to donate to the 'Sass needs a new tatt' fund? ;)

Wow - nice to know others are as addicted to BPs as I am. I'd love to see any pics of actual tatts or even drawings of potential BP tatts. I'd like/prefer to go in with a drawing already, but I'm still trying to master the art of drawing stick people and am don't really know any good artists.

BTW...I loved 'Neverending Story' when I was younger (actually, I still kinda like it!! )

I think the only things I can draw are stick figures! When Mark is finished w/mine (will be awhile probably), I'll scan it and send it your way, at the very least it might give you an idea of what you might want to do.

My botferiend does tattoos, and I am toying with the idea of getting a snake of some sort. My third and next tat will be a coverup of the eye I got done on my arm, which was kinda a spur-of-the-moment tat from when I was younger.
I want to get a faerie sitting on a crescent moon. But if I was getting a BP tat, it'd have to be a mad little hatchling getting ready to bite!

Was just wondering if any came across any cool designs for a BP tat?

    Wow this is cool.
I just got a picture back of my bp and it is an overhead pic and I thought " there is my next tat. I have a great shop right down the street from me and he has done a few of my tat's I am gonna take the pic in and see what type of $$ we are talking. I have the left side of back open :)
I will let you know how the drawing comes out and what type of time and money it may take.

yeah ive been thinking of a bp tattoo i don't know how i would do it. i hate those tattoos that people who know zero about snakes get of the evil serpant that has it's mouth open and its fangs just waiting to bite.

I've been into tattoos for a while now. Only have one that I got when I was 15 but they're so addictive...been itching to get more ever since. Just never have any money for it. But yeah, I've been wanting a nice(not like those evil ones as daft was mentioning) ball python tattoo where it's wrapping around my upper arm. Don't know the exact design of it..but that's the idea. And I'm sure I'll never get it(or atleast not anytime soon) since I have a pretty big arm, and I'm sure it'd take quite a lot of ink/detailing to do it. :(
