I have seen Eco-Earth cake up on a Sand Boas mouth before.

We would have to see it before we can try to help.

You'll need to upload it to photobucket or equal site. Or you can use the tapatalk app. Makes forums like this one so easy to use.

How did you notice that there was something in your BP's mouth? Was it gaping open? Swollen? Did you notice this after feeding? Do you feed your BP in his enclosure on the bedding, or do you remove him? What kind of bedding do you use? Any possibility that your BP picked up a bit of dirty bedding while feeding? So many questions, I know! I'm just trying to narrow down possibilities.

I feed him outside enclosure, mouth was open and he could not close it happened over a 24 hour period. 1 week after feeding, zila bedding darker color I don't remember the name. The dark stuff looks like bedding but not sure what white stuff is maybe infection. Coil he have swollllowed it the threw it up? I am very confused and it is my 4year olds snake I would hate to lose him. He has had mouth rot in past but got over it and doesn't look the same as last time. I was just wondering if anyone has had a problem like this.

Can you give a description of what's left (drooling, gaping, swelling, left or right side, toward the front or stuck in the throat, etc)? Have you tried swabbing with a moistened Q tip?

Not sure we can help but we will try :D
Are you able to take your animal to a vet?

Drooling and some white mucus looking stuff and I have but he is not having it at all. Almost like it hurts him but he has always been head shy. And the Q tip is how we had to get it out of his mouth after we got it out he was gapping some but think he was more stretching his mouth out. We don't have any type of CRT that treats snakes here or close and hoping could solve without vet

If it's an RI, you need to see a vet. Where are you located?

Ok I was able to have a locate vet give me a wash and baytril injections. I think he has a sore in his mouth from the shavings.

I washed his mouth out and got more black stuff out of it I am pretty sure it is bark but think it has caused an infection so I have been trying to keep it very clean I hope this helps.

    Hi,

Keep his temps at the correct settings and see a vet for anti-biotics if it is infected.

    Get a culture done too.
