    Defecation!
Ok no pics needed here please lol.. My girl just took her second massive dump in 11 days haha looks as normal as I would expect not runny or n e thing but yea for a 160g snake my god I thought a small dog was in there haha.

In all seriousness tho I was wondering both poops have been 4 days after a meal and she has had a urate 3 days.. I'm assuming this is good? Also do balls tend to do their business in a designated location ? She has found the same corner all 4 times I've had to clean up after her.. Is that normal as well or is she just a neat snake?

you set me up for failure! lol. I got done working out to find a months worth from my boa waiting for me, at least 4 urates and a big ole pile, along the side of the tub and a rock hide just for good measure :)

They are funny critters I have a couple that go super regularly. Much like yours does and other that are few and far between. Also I have 3 that almost always use the same corner and then avoid it like the plague. Most of the others are all over but corners always are popular, and one who will go anywhere and often will go back through it. They are individuals and have much more personality than most (non reptile people) would expect.

Ya it's amazing how smart they really are..

Btw ewal- her last one was between the cage and hide an when I went to clean it sure enough it was stuck to the hide and that needed a good scrubbing as well

I just had to clean two piles today. My male lesser decided he would try to paint-by-numbers inside his tub. He had poop EVERYWHERE. In the water bowl, on top of the hide, inside the hide, smeared on the side of the hide, etc. And I looked him over to see if he needed to be cleaned up...he was squeaky clean.

The other one was less impressive. she always poops in the cold side hide about every 2 weeks and today was no different xD

I also have another one who holds it in until she can't anymore.

These are all 400-600g snakes. I can't imagine what my 2000g will do...

When he's ready. 3 of mine go once a week like clockwork while my baby lesser likes to wait 2-3 weeks sometimes. She'll look like a sausage and then afterwards, looks like I don't feed her enough... They are all different.

It will vary on the snake. My normal goes about every 2 weeks, my lesser about every 2-3 weeks and my spider will go a month or more. She always scares me into thinking she's got an impaction. She gets HUGE ad then one day, I wake up to a huge log. As long as he's eating good, he'll go when he needs to.

My lesser ball python LOVES to poop/pee on me to this day. Here is a video of him nailing me at the ETHS herp show in Houston, TX. I had him out to look at him. I ended up buying him, despite him pooping on myself and the breeder. My friend (who's filming) was laughing so hard at the breeder and I trying to contain it.

" To poop or not to poop. "
I have seven snakes, six BPs and one Red corn Snake.
It varies from dog turds to small land mines in the corner, inside the hide, around the bowl, the awesomeness never ceases to amaze me! All I know is that they eat when they need to, shed when they need to, poop when they need to. This Herp Project has me hooked, poop and all.

    2.5.1 = 2 males, 5 females, 1 unsexed.

It's a way for us to say how many of what sex of ball pythons (pets or kids for that matter) we all have.

Mine hasn't went yet. I have owned him since December 26th and he has eaten once. Any tips? I have tried a warm bath, but it didn't make a difference.

lol you should of seen my het pied yesterdaylol.. she finally shed in a single piece ( she always rips it on the tub some how) but this time she let go with every thing while shedding , I had a half filled snake shed intact that I could not save lol. but it made cleaning the cage so easy lol. no true mess. Wait till you get tothe point you weighting the snake and guessing the poo weight just from what she lost lol.. 200 grams of poo is a small dog lol.

Ours goes about every 2 weeks - maybe a little less. And every time she will go in this plastic small fish bowl we have in there with moss in it. We joke that its his litter box :) But now she's getting a little big and doesn't always manage to get the poop in the moss tank :)

My albino hasn't eaten or pooped yet, but he's gained a bit of water weight in the past month I've had him, so I figure I'll find some urates soon enough.

My normal (technically my friend's, but he's certainly been living at my house a long time) leaves big logs and urates in the same place most times. I once had to soak him for a bad shed, and he pooped on me while I was picking off some loose skin from his tail end.
