Muhahahahah.......I'm lovin it. SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP!!! Get out the brooms! :D
-
GO SPURS GO!!!!!!
FROM THE RESIDENT SAN ANTONIAN

A sweep would be sweet! And so long as the Spurs continue to play at the top of their game, they will. If they have an "off" day though, the Lakers might manage to squeak out a win. :P
-
The Lakers are a LOT tougher to beat at home, seeing as how they aren't too tough to beat on the road. The lakers will get one for sure and maybe squeak out two.
-
True enough, Kent. It'll definitely be a harder game in LA than they were in SA. Can't wait to watch 'em! :D

Doesn't anyone follow Hockey anymore??
-
-
I like hockey esp. the Blackhawks and I can dig the Predators - I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE the RedWings though (sorry any Redwings fans)
EDIT - I also like the Chicago Wolves a lot. :) extra violent haha
-
I'm orignally from Buffalo, NY, so of course I'm a Sabres fan, but living in Tampa the last 5yrs., I've become a Lightning fan as well--and they're kickin' a**!!!!!

I'm afraid I've just never figured out the whole hockey thing. It just takes too friggen long to get a point! LOL I really love the fast pace of basketball...especially a close game. I will say this though...hockey moves a lot faster than baseball! :P
-
Well the scoreboard moves way faster in basketball ... the only hurdle for me was - why do they always call icing in the video games what does that mean ? ha ha. Hockey is a lot like soccer ... only on ice and with weapons.
-
I love hockey!! Nonstop action, grueling endurance, all the finesse of basketball, all the physical play of football, and lotsa speed!
Im a Devils fan of course.
-
Icing is when the opposing team hits the puck and it crosses 3 lines (blue line to the goal line) towards the opposite teams net and nobody touches it, then they must face off on the side of the opposing teams net (the team that hit it)...does that make sense? It is a little difficult to explain and I really don't get the purpose of that rule (guess I'm not really making a good case to win people over to hockey, huh??)

I went to a boxing match one time and a Hockey game broke out.

My opinion of icing is so that the time committing the offense can't just keep whacking it from their end to the other over and over to stall or burn time ya know. You gotta have a guy there to receive it kinda to prove there was a purpose in passin down there. Otherwise its icing so you don't just waste time. Cuz I mean it would be an easy stall technique for a team up 1-0 late in a game.
Oh and I don't watch hockey at all during the regular season but try to watch a bit in the playoffs, its a bit more exciting then. I'm a Maple Leafs fan, but not a very educated one.
-
Good point, I concur...Maple Leafs are kewl too (Buffalo is pretty close to Toronto, awesome city!!)

awwwwwww man..... My great basketball thread has been highjacked by a bunch of hockey wackos!  :P
