Mojave Ghost

$375 is a great price. He looks pretty nice to me.

They get better and better with age.

I've been wanting one for years since I saw a huge adult female.

Don't think I've ever seen an ugly mojo ghost...

That is a really neat morph! I'm new to BP but I did a lot of shopping around before I bought mine. I really wanted a very pale ghost but the only ones I found were 600+.

Well, I picked him up yesterday for $350. He's a little bigger than he looks in the pic. I'm sure there's a few sheds in between the pic and now. I'll try to get some pics after he settles in.

Good deal! We love our boy. When I brought him home my boyfriend was speechless : )

Nice. They really are one of the most beautiful royal morph combos that just keep on improving. Here's my boy in with a POG for colour comparison. I am hoping for a nice female hypo mojave this year as my lad has been in with a very beautiful Bell line female that I have, although I can't say 100% that they have locked. very good buy, very nice snake. The price you mentioned for this, if it genetically is what it says, is incredible. Really a low price. and you are close to a potentially new morph (never seen it before), ghost mystic potion.

I hope it thrives under your care and that it will spread its genes in your collection.

Thanks! From what the seller said the parents were a Pastave Ghost to a Spider het Ghost. I've had him for a week and a half and has eaten twice now and is just chillin'.

You really are lucky, if it proves out when breeding it, then its quite incredible, especially the price.

i like it because i like the BEL-gene complex, i like that chromosome, and this is a recessive at the doorstep of entering that gene complex.

Why would he need to prove it out? It's already proven because it's a visual ghost..
It's not a het.

because the price is totally unbelievable? ;) Yes, maybe im being overly skeptical. and then, i did see that ghost is expressed, but i was unsure about mojave.

but we can maybe just agree that its a snake so good that it should breed?

I would say that the snake in the opening post is definitely a hypo mojave. If you get the get the animal in that photo at that price then you have got a real bargain and well done.

I'm confused on what is making you unsure about Mojave? It looks pretty clear cut. I say the op just got a great deal.

That is one of the BEST Hypo Mojos I have seen, nothing to prove out.

Now what kind of female to pair him with, any suggestions? I've got till August to contemplate this, that's when the next super show is in town.

the last picks really look like a "Butter Ghost" instead of a "Mojave Ghost"

Well it's the same snake so if you think it looks like a mojo ghost in the first picture, then it's also a mojo ghost in the others... The first pics are more likely either before the first shed or after the first shed and we all know how much snakes can change after shedding a few times. It's a very nice hypo mojave , congrats on the pickup, OP
