Super Pastel???

Once again I find myself deciding whether to buy another snake. Well a friend of a friend is selling a 480g female super pastel, which would work perfect in my collection. I have not seen the super in person but I the seller has sent me pictures. Now does this look like a super pastel to you? If so would you buy her?

If it is a super pastel it isn't a very good one.

when i picked up my pastel lady i thought she was a super just in my head for some reason untill i did some research and saw this video..

after seeing them side by side in a video its kindof obvious whos who.

i think the easiest give away is the browning on the top of the snakes body. On the super its almost completely gone! Also inside the black marks it is extreamly blushed also the head is super blushed almost silver even moreso than a pastel

im still new but this is what iv come up with after reading around about it :)

but remember. a female is a female is a female is a female

and if the price is right i probably would get her if you plan on breeding in a few years :D best of luck in whatever you do

Really doesn't look like a Super to me, they usually have a very uniform yellow in them. I think it might be a decent Pastel though, just depends on the price. If their asking for over $150 then I would pass and just buy an actual Super Pastel, I think they're pretty cheap these days.

Pastel...I wouldn't buy it if the first pic is the most current...What's up with that head!

Doesn't look like a super. If it is then its a very low quality. Here's a pic of a girl I produced last year. You can see the head looks a lot different.

X2. Trust your gut, if you're questioning it at all, don't do it.

run, and keep running until you find a good looking super that's kept properly.

"IF" it's a super it's a low quality super and the fact they'd show a tank like that in a picture trying to sell it ...smh

I like the richness of color on that particular bp but if I was looking for a super I would keep looking. This guy is just under 5 years hold and very bright.

I've seen a super pastel that was about that dark, my husbands' is. But the big difference and the dead giveaway for a super is the head. Super pastels have nearly white heads. This is just a really blushed out pastel.

Now, if you had a mind to get a pastel for breeding, this one has potential. It's not real yellow, but the blushing is ridiculous. However, if you are looking for a super, this is not it.
