wooooooo hoooo!!

finally caught Smoke shedding... i've been wanting to watch him shed since I got him... I didn't want to disturb him too much, so I only took a couple of photos... i'll take some after pics though...

he just completed, and the shed is absolutely perfect from head to tail. i tried taking a picture but it just won't turn out very good for me. but this is very odd... i kept his last shed, and put them next to eachother... and granted the old one is very dry, but this shed is exactly 1.5 feet longer. tomorrow i'll re-measure... but if you ask me, that's insane.

Shed skin can stretch ALOT if its wet....thats why measuring a snake's length by its skin is not accurate at all.

i know. that isn't what i was talking about. the skin itself was 1 and 1/2 feet longer than the skin he shed last month. and i even mentioned the old one was very dry. wet or dry, what i was saying was 1 and 1/2 feet seems like one hell of a change.

lol... i agree, but you see judy. i'm literally afraid to breed any species of snake. my cat had 3 litters of kittens within 6 months... now we have 12 cats. you get the pic...

Haha, I hear ya dude.....I don't know how I'll sell all my babies once I start breeding. :D

It'll be like "Oh, I just wanna keep this one. And of course, I hafta keep that one. And this one... and that one... and I can NOT sell this one!"

Wizill, I'll be back in the DC area this weekend, and might be goin to the herp show that way this weekend... Anyways, I got a job with Amtrak outta DC, if you wanted to breed him when he's big enough (is he already?) I've been lookin for a stud for sprocket. Maybe we could work out something?
