At a loss if this is anything, Please Help

I guess I am going to be adding to the long subject of "is this a morph". I am new here, and pretty new to ball pythons. This guy was sold to be as a pastel, but recently come to believe he is not. Any help on him is greatly appreciated.

Not a pastel, but wow, what a looker, whatever it is!

The clear belly is cool, and I really love the pattern.

On the bad side that is definately not a pastel. but on the plus side it looks like a fire to me.

At least it confirms now hes not pastel. I do love the pattern the more I look at him.
I did try to get some different/better pictures, but he just wasn't having it tonight. lol

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for him? To me it looks like a fire, but not at all pastel.

IMO that is a fire. Do you know the pairing that produced it?

Very beautiful snake! The faded head, blushing, and overall light coloration leads me to believe he might be a fire. :) Congrats!

Hi M, I'm the one who emailed you to post here. I also saw fire traits when I saw your original pictures but I wanted you to come here for more opinions. I knew the people here would be of great help to you. Now if you decide to keep him, (remember to have the gender double checked) maybe you can pick up another fire to find out if it is one.

I do think its a subtle morph either way.

Its a fire

I'd just about guarantee it's a fire. Not as bright as some, but not a bad little guy. He'll get brighter as he ages, and if you are really fortunate he'll get more blushing. Thinking about breeding in the future? Or just a really nice pet?

My first impression is fire as well for 100 $?? that's a steal !!! :gj:
