Any other Weight Watchers members?
My close friend talked me into joining weight watchers and to try it for a couple of months. She has had great success, losing almost 40 pounds since the beginning of September! My first official day was January 1st.
After one week on the WW program, I had lost 3.4 pounds.
This week (so 2 weeks on WW) I lost another 3 pounds!
I like not having to obsess over calories/fat/protien/carbs/sugars. WW calculates how many points each food is by plugging the fat, carbs, fiber, and protein into an equation. Almost all fresh fruits/veggies are "free" so you can eat as many as you want! I don't know, I was skeptical at first but I really like it because you can still eat "normal" foods, but it just encourages you to make better decisions and to eat more fruits and veggies.
I do the Weight Watchers online program. If there is anyone else who does the online WW, let me know! I want to be your friend on there and we can support each other!

I'm not on WW, but after the harvest/holiday season I am strapping down to try to drop another 20 lbs! After dropping 20 between July and Oct, I was thrilled to see that I had only gained back 1 lb after all the holiday feasting. Time to return to order.
Keep it up and remember that it's a lifestyle change that should become natural to you through the program, that way you won't need the program once it's all 2nd nature.

Thanks! I know it's a lifestyle change and I think, like you said, the plan will become natural after a while. I do love the online community and the recipes/trackers that are available on the website though!

I'm on WW, down 17.5 lbs since the last Thursday in November. I've done it before and know it works. I do meetings though, but do use eTools.

That is fantastic! Do you go to meetings or do the online program?

Any other Weight Watchers members?
My week 3 weigh in is tomorrow! I went out of town and ate out several times this week. Fingers crossed that I still lose!

I'm not doing Weight Watchers at the moment -- SparkPeople has been my truly consistent point over the past several years -- but when I was doing WW, I loved this recipe:
http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/r...recipeid=54041
Actually I still love it! Long story short, they're blueberry cake squares made utilizing just blueberry pie filling and an angel food cake mix. Delicious! They're not health food, obviously, but they're good for taking as a dessert to a potluck or similar situations where I know I'll want a dessert and I'd like the damage to be as minimal as possible.
For me, it's all about controlling my environment. I've even convinced my extended family to let me cook for them at large gatherings.
You can do this. You ARE doing it! Keep it up :)

I did WW for before my wedding, and then fell off the wagon. I'm doing MyFitnessPal right now, and am tempted to go back.

I had short term success with MFP but all the calorie counting had me getting a bit obsessive and I didn't like that.
Oh here is my week 3 weigh in. Not bad for going out of town and being on my period :)

I do. I have a personal trainer I see 2x a week and do strength and cardio training. Since the new year I've been too busy between school and work to start hitting the gym again but in the next week or two I should have my schedule a little more in control so I can get back to it :)

I do cardio and resistance (bodyweight and hand weights), varying in amounts depending on what my body permits me at any given time (my knees are at least 64 years old -- unfortunately, I'm 42 :P )
I weighed 200 lbs in the fall of 2006; I'm now at 144 or so, working on chiseling off a ridiculous holiday gain. I'd like to be back at 135, which is my now-accustomed weight, by April of this year.
