Kings just put the Mavericks out of the playoffs... i'm so hype i just had to post. let me not get ahead of myself, but my prediction for the western conference...

spurs over lakers... (long shot, i know... i can dream though)

i love this game.

The Kings are good, but they won't beat the Spurs. The Kings don't play D. SA does, and very well. Look for the Spurs to repeat......SA over Detroit in the finals.

Why do you think it's such a longshot for the Spurs to take the Lakers? I think they'll do it in five or six games. And I agree with David...the Spurs are going to repeat this year, if everyone stays healthy. :D :D :D

The Lakers had a tough time w/ the Rockets.....do you really think they'll handle the Spurs? They're too inconsistent. Plus Karl Malone will have to contend with Tim Duncan, not Maurice Taylor or Kelvin Cato, lol. Bruce Bowen will shut down Kobe. The Spur's bench is much deeper than LA's. I call the SPurs in 6 games.

holy crap. you're talking about defense? dude, webber had like 12 blocks in the mavericks series... not to mention christie and bibby had more steals than everyone on the mavericks combined.

Both the Kings and Mavs are soft.....they won't make it to the Conference Finals. The Wolves will dispatch them......the Wolves play mediocre defense and thats still better than the Kings' defense.

Oh, and the Lakers are still goin down. ;)

Oh, and the only good defender Sac-town has in Christie......but just because him & Bibby had a bunch of steals doesn't make the Kings a defensive powerhouse....it just means the Mavs suck when pressured and don't take care of the ball. The Wolves take great care of the ball and don't get flustered easily. Wolves in 7 games.
