My neighbor gave me his cat recently....he got laid off and can't afford to take care of him anymore.....his name is Boots. We have taken him to get him neutered and get his shots. He is the most affectionate cat I've ever seen....he absolutely looooves people and is very sweet. This is my fonly non-herp, lol.

    Crested Set-Up Shopping List!
I always have loved either rescue mutts or Boston Terriers, not a big cat fan but I love the social ones (my family happens to have a very social rescue cat that is about 16 yrs old) that's a nice lookin' cat though and that was nice of you to help out your neighbor with a good home!

LOL, well, at least I'll bet it has a good feeding response and will take any rodent you want to give it. :)
  • 04-29-2004, 12:21 AM
Yeah, I had to dunk it in the toilet to get rid of its mites though.

Very pretty kitty, David! I had a cat named Boots when I was a kid. She was orange and white, though.

My sister has a cat now that comes when it is called and is almost TOO friendly...always wanting to be in your lap and in your face. Sweet kitty, but a tad annoying. Cats are awesome creatures and I really miss owning my own. :?

I just have to say that the exchanges between Marla and David had me laughing so hard I was near in tears! Thanks for cheering me up, I'm having a crappy week so the laughs are great! :)

 Glad to pitch in, and if it involves humor, so much the better! I'm having a crappy week, too, but sooner or later some of these balls I'm juggling are going to have to end up in my hand or on the ground and the suspense will be over.

I feel the EXACT same way - advice for anyone starting a business - don't unless you don't mind the taste of TUMS and don't mind the prospect of going totally broke haha. I figure i'm young enough where if I go belly up I can always chalk it up to life experience and start over - if I don't go belly up, Sweet! We're trying to secure investors and loans and dealing with stock sharing and venture capitalists and .... yuk. That plus final exams and projects and me hoping to graduate in Dec. with a major and a minor .. oh and I'm moving into a house here in Nashvllle in August so i'm working on all the lease details and stuff like that ... ew.
