An apology.....

  • 04-28-2004, 02:16 PM
I would just like to apologize for my past actions on the site and to those who I have conflicted with before (you know who you are).....I harbor no ill feelings towards any of you or this site. I needed to do this for my own conscience. I hate burning bridges and I hope that no hard feelins are held on any of your parts either. Thank you for reading.

For some reason my signature isn't working, but in case any of you don't know, this is David Beard.

Was wondering what happened to you! Had begun to fear you'd been eaten in a feeding gone horribly awry! Good to see you're back 8)

Hi David, I just got on here and see you're back. There was an ATB post yesterday or the day before that could use your input. I accept your apology, what part was intended for me, and I am sorry that things went the way they did. No need to go into that. I hope you'll get back to steering folks toward Rubbermaid housing and showing us pics of all your herps.

I second that! Help out some new guys and show us your collection :)
  • 04-28-2004, 09:52 PM
Thanks Marla. I'm glad we were able to put that stuff behind us.

I am actually in the process of downsizing my collection. I just got a full time job and will not have as much time to spend with my animals as I have in the recent past. I'll throw up some recent pics for all you groupies, though lol. ;)

Nothing wrong with downsizing when appropriate. Which ones will you be keeping? Will others be going to your girlfriend?

As far as the other, I'm fine with putting stuff behind us and hope none of it will come up again. You always did have something to contribute here, and I valued that.
  • 04-28-2004, 10:12 PM
Don't worry, that "other stuff" won't pop up again. :)

Here is what I will be keeping (the other snakes I am selling at the next KY Expo):

    1.1 Amazon Tree Boas
    1.1 Sonoran Desert Boas
    1.0 Western Hognose
1.1 Corn Snakes (male Motley & female Ghost)
    1.0 Ball Python
    0.1 Borneo Blood Python
    and my Beardie of course.

What would David Beard be without his beardie? David Beardless! Can't have that. So you'll be keeping the Halloween ATB but getting rid of the female hognose? I think she might like a home further south ...
  • 04-29-2004, 12:06 AM
lol....Can't get rid of the Beardie. :D

Yeah, my sub-adult Ammies aren't going anywhere. I already sold the female Hognose to a good friend of mine, sorry lol. :D

    Um...Fecal Question....
So what do you have left to sell at the expo? Just out of curiosity, of course ... :)
  • 04-29-2004, 12:17 AM
I'm selling my 1.1 Pueblan Milks, 1.0 Savu Python, 0.1 Children's Python, 0.0.1 Hypo Corn, 0.0.2 ATBs, and 0.1 Ball Python.
  • 04-29-2004, 12:19 AM
    Marla
That's a bunch! Good luck with that.
  • 04-29-2004, 12:23 AM
Thanks! I don't think I'll have a problem selling any of them. I'm a great salesman when I need to be. ;)
  • 04-29-2004, 12:25 AM
    Marla
I'm sure you won't have much trouble, and the 0.1 ball python should sell herself pretty quickly without much promoting by you. :)
  • 04-29-2004, 12:27 AM
I agree.....any female Ball that is in completely perfect health and eats f/t rats should not last long at a show.
  • 04-29-2004, 12:31 AM
    Marla
Heh ... you could try auctioning her and see how that goes ;)
  • 04-29-2004, 12:35 AM
Thats definitely a possibility if she doesn't go in the first couple of hours. :)
  • 04-29-2004, 12:37 AM
    Marla
Or if you're getting a lot of inquiries about her. :)

    (and with that, good night!)
