New Snake Building!

Wasn't sure where to put this so sorry if this isn't the right place. I got a 10ftx16ft storage building and while it is nothing like Tim Bailey's new building, I am still excited :banana::banana: . I still have to insulate it, put up drywall, and wire everything. I will keep this thread updated with pics as everything happens.

This is awesome! Cant wait to see how you set up your racks. Are you going to build new ones or use the ones you already have?

Im going to be using the ones I already have. Right now I have a 6 slot 41qt AP rack, 6 slot 32qt AP rack, a 5 slot 32qt Boaphile rack, the rat rack, and incubator that will be going in the building and a 3 slot 41qt AP rack I am keeping inside for quarantine. I have also ordered an 8 slot 41qt AP rack and 2 AP T10 cages for my carpets that will be going in the building as well.

That's why I need a house I want something like that for rats haha looks cool

That's exactly why my next place will be a rent house! I want to set up something like that to breed rodents to feed my growing collection.

Thanks! Not sure how far they will deliver but may be worth checking out Yoder's Storage Buildings (http://yodersstoragebuildings.com) I was originally looking at 10ftx12ft buildings but ended up being able to go with a 10ftx16ft because of how much cheaper Yoder's was.

Right now I am just using a spare room and quickly outgrowing that. I have a HUGE garage.... house had a 24' x 26' garage and I added a 30' x 60' to that.

I am thinking I will turn the 24' x 26' garage into the snake room. It's already wired and I have running water in the garage. Security system is already installed including door and motion sensors..... something you may want to look into. My only issue is that I'm in FL and will likely need to add a separate HVAC system to maintain ambient temps year around.
