bp trade... is it worth it?
A guy wants to trade me his 2011 female black pastel for my 2012 male mojave and my male pinstripe.

(if you are wondering why I am getting rid of the two its because I want to get rid of my single gene males and get some more females and double gene males)

Pictures? I agree that having the older female would be better then having the younger males, but if the males are particularly nice morphs, or close to breeding size.. could be questionable.

Any pics of the black pastel?

Im getting pics up in a few seconds.

    She weighs 1100 grams.

My mojo is sitting at 150g

The pin is sitting at about 300g.

That would be a close one to say and would come back to a couple factors if I were in your shoes:

Quality of all the animals involved.
What plans I had for that female, if any.
How well, if at all, I knew the person I was trading with and how well the animal he was offering had been cared for or if he was a flipper.

Not the best picture ever.. hard to even tell its a black pastel.. But an 1100g girl for two small males? I'd say that's a fine deal especially if you are looking to breed soon.

If it helps I paid $100 for the mojo and $150 for the pin.

Those males are smokin'...that pic of the Black Pastel is not. I'd be wary. Are you able to see her in person?

That is a pretty smokin mojave. Dunno if I would be able to part with that guy :P The pinstripe is also nice too. Is that the only picture you have of the black pastel? If so.. I would pass until I saw better pictures.

That pic you posted looks more like a mojave then a black pastel to me.

I know the mojave is smokin lol but he is preeeety small.

I can see her in person when he delivers her to my door

Pass. Not impressed with that female at all, I think you can find way better for breeding purposes. Stick with your males.

You can always drop your boys off with me. :D

On a serious note, you can always invest in a big normal girl and maybe a young morph female. Then you have something to pair your boys with until your morph female is of weight.

I would also pass, she really doesn't catch my eye. That pinstripe of yours, however..:gj:

I'd personally get more pics she looks like either a cinnamon a Mojave or a back pastel then when you know which see if he would take the pin plus cash because any of those three and that Mojave of yours would make smokin babies

That is a gorgeous Mojave, my friend! He's a keeper.

I'm not wowed by the female love both of your males though!

I'd definitely say keep your boys! That female, although larger, is very low quality for a Black Pastel and if you wanted to, I'm sure you may even be able to find a better trade offer if you want. :u

If it helps your purposes, I'd accept the trade.

In defense of the "ugly" black pastel, a picture can make or break a morph. Some people take really crappy pictures of really nice snakes, and guess what? The snakes look crappy!

I bet if that picture wasn't blurry and it was under some sunlight, it might actually look nice. Just trying to give this "ugly" snake the benefit of the doubt!
