    being offered as a vanilla
So this bp was sold as a vanilla. I was contacted and asked my oppinion. as i'm not familiar with them i was granted permission to post the pick here. I like it what ever it is. :) lol They were also offered a het spider from the same self proclaimed breeder. I advised not to purchase anything from that person. but they picked up this as a vanilla because they liked the looks of it.

I'm not good with subtle morphs... but this looks like regular "wild type" ball python.........

Looks like a mojave, the flash just really blowing the yellow up...not a vanilla.

Not a Vanilla... Could be a Mojave from the pattern, but the colors are so off that it could be something else.

Certainly not a vanilla, it has none of the vanilla characteristics. It might be a mojave of some sort, the picture is pretty bad to tell for sure, but the pattern hints at mojave.

Hopefully they didn't pay an excessive amount for it. As a single gene animal, even a mojave isn't a bad score for the right price.

I thought mystic at first as well, but the pattern seems off. See if they will take natural light pics of head, whole body, side, and whole belly...

ok a little more info... I just found out that the pairing was mojave x vanilla. He paid $160 for that male. So my original thought was a low quality mojave and for that price not to bad of a deal. Not a killer deal but for a 300 gram male not to bad imo.

Yeah that statement alone pretty much sums up the fact you can't believe a word that breeder says.
