    new pythons, help ID please
Long story short, I came into some pythons and got a description of each, including het properties. Is there any way to tell(ive heard some have markers) that would help ID them. Im labeling them how they were labeled, but please let me know if any are wrong!

Im not familiar with pied markers but I think you are going to need to post belly shots.

I also do mot beleive you have a Mojave there, could be the lighting but Im not seeing it.

Need belly / near tail shots for possible markers (for the het pieds). Also, that is not a Mojave...looks like a pastel to me O_o

    #10 is a pastel not a mojave

otherwise everything that can visually deciphered is in order. There is no way to tell if a snake is het for a gene without knowing what the parents were and/or breeding to probe the genes out 100% of the time. het pied do have "markers" but they are no guarantee.

The het pied markers are on the snakes belly. They are called train tracks.

    1,9 & 10 are pastels.

If hets were visual they wouldn't be recesive traits.

That second pic is Mojave. The first time you must've put a different snake because they are way different!

That is a Mojave, but it isn't the same snake that you have posted as #10 on your original post.

X2. The snake pictured above is definitely a Mojave. And a pretty one too.
