    Purchased as a Mojave
I just picked up this snake from a local pet store. It was marked as a mojave but seems way too light to me. Please let me know what you think. They usually only have normals but they had a breeder drop off a few morphs. I don't know the paring I'm sure that would have helped. It was cheap so I took a chance.

I didn't buy this snake a friend did and I am currently paying back people for things that happened. That's all I will say about that situation

    Hmmm... Inconsistency.

If you really have made arrangements with those to whom you are in debt, perhaps asking them politely to add that to your BOI thread would be in order. Demonstrating that you are taking care of your obligations would do a lot to start repairing the damage done to your reputation.

As I said a friend got it because I currently can't buy anything. We were at the pet store together and saw it he bought it for me because it was really cheap and we couldn't figure out what it was

Only pointing this out because there's no way to mistake the two. I have no way to tell which one is correct but I will tell you that people are gonna be on your butt for this because it DOES sound odd. Why would you say you bought it instead of just saying "my friend bought it" in the first place? Nobody would've said anything, people ask questions about their friends'/family's/others' snakes all the time.

    See what I mean though?

Ok I miss worded what I was trying to say. I am in possession of a snake that I would like help Id. I used the word purchase because I dont want people to think it was a random snake

If I would have said a friend bought an snake and I have it then everyone would have asked why do I have it. Any way I would have said it I would have been wrong.

You should have used that money your friend gave you to buy the snake to pay off your debts instead.

I doesn't matter what I say anyway I'm gonna be wrong. I'm not gonna tell someone hey don't buy that give me cash for a Christmas present. It's a nice gesture but give me money.

I know this must be frustrating ...but this is what happens in our community when someone screws people over time and time again. You get blacklisted. People will not only not do business with you by selling snakes, they also will not buy from you, and will probably not welcome you with open arms into a discussion. Until you prove otherwise, by making things right by those that you have wronged, don't expect any help or sympathy.

Trolls even get welcomed, questions answered, etc. Scammers and thieves do not. Its a long road back from the gutter, first step is making things right.

    Good luck.

Your canoli is over done.....Return the mojave, get your money back (Friend's whatever) and start paying your debt back.

Most people do not know about the BOI, but I guarantee you every reptile forum has members that follow the BOI very closely so until you pay these people back you will get responses like this. It sucks but what you did is not so great either.

    Sal,

I'd love to believe what you're saying about paying people back and making it right as fast as you can. I was more then decent with you with giving you more time and listening to your excuses and you have not made one effort with me to make it right. You no longer respond to questions about sending the money orders you promise or give any updates. You really should follow through and then try to show that you can be trusted as someone else has already said, it's a small community and people don't forget quickly. Making it right with all involved would go a long way to helping yourself as well as giving others, including me, the money you owe them.

    1) the snake is nothing special. Ordinary imo.
    2) Sell the mojave and your collection to pay people back.... It sounds like you have some high dollar snakes in your possession.
It's better to settle a debt than keep wading in dangerous waters.
And if you're having financial/family/life issues whatever, how do you have the means to take care of your animals?

    How old are you?
If you think breeding your snakes are more important than integrity and doing the right thing, then this community isn't for you.

That's funny...cause I haven't seen a single cent or any communication from you in months. Telling others you're paying people back won't get people to believe you until those people screwed by you let everyone know that you've made things right....and it looks like I'm the second person in this thread that hasn't seen any money yet.....

Oh and I hear you don't even have my snake anymore....

I know this guy's stunts are enraging everyone, but this reads a lot like a threat of physical violence. We probably shouldn't cross that line in these forums. Walk away for 24 hours if he's making you that angry; this kind of response is apt to get the cops called on you instead of him.

Didn't see any sort of threat whatsoever.. this guy is a classic example of a scumbag, and even though I'm completely disconnected from the situation it still pisses me off.

This kid is one of kind. He burned a buddy of mine he has been using whatever happens in the world as a excuse. Just few weeks ago said a family was in the newtown shooting or his aunt died like 50 times. He was supposed to make good on a trade he never sent for my buddy. Sal said he would do a trade with the Spector owed to my buddy with few others for few more my buddy's snake. I told him not to do the trade. He instead sent the snakes to me. Once sal new they snakes where her in ct he was supposed to release a tracking number from ups because he works there. Well he had more lies and bs and had the snake sent back to him. Never gave a tracking. Now sal was supposed to call me and pay for shipping back to my buddy he will never come threw on any deal. He has a case being built against him as we speak. More evidence is needed. He will soon be doing time with bubba as this is not his first run in with the law. Sal ill make sure i drop off soap on a rope for ya. Your gonna need it. He can also be seen at white plains show I got a few pics of him if u wanna know who to look for

I made the deal with rich to make good on a deal we had. He was supposed to send the snakes to me and did not that's why I held my snakes at the hub. I offered to after my snakes came back to me I was gonna bring them to you and pick up my snakes from you. He said this was unacceptable and wanted me to release my snakes to him and then he would tell me where my snakes were. It was never part of the deal to send his snakes to someone else. He was trying to rip off my snake because he new nobody would care if I got ripped off. I offered him 10 times to bring the snakes to you with money to ship them to him and I could pick up my end of the trade. You know this is true. He was trying to get me to send the snake to him and then not give me anything and nobody would care he ripped me off. Send me pics of the snakes at your house as proof and I will bring my end to you. Deal done so you could see I'm not lying.

I also would try to sell a few of the snakes I have left to use to pay towards people I owe but nobody would trust me or buy a snake from me and when I did set up a deal to make good on a bad deal all that happened was I almost got ripped off for my snakes and nobody would have cared. So now I can't sell anything to help pay off my debt and everyone that I could deal with could just rip me off and nobody will care or even believe me like what just happened.

I'm gonna be sending as much as I can whenever I can to those I owe and when my tax return comes in this year I will pay the rest to whomever I still owe because trying to trade snakes to make the deal right isn't gonna work I guess. I have 3 kids and only my wife is working part time it's not easy to pay back as fast as everyone would like I also really don't appreciate people calling and threatning me and my family. That is not how to get things resolved.

Suggestion: Make a deal with the petstore you got your mojave from. It sounds like they have morphs. Sell the snakes to them or have them sell the snakes for you for a percentage of the price.

Suggestion 2: get a loan from the Bank or a family member.

Yes. I doubt people would have cared if you got ripped off. It's the same actions you did in the first place after all... Ripping people off..........
