    Eye stripe?
So my girlfriend picked up what was said to be a normal. The breeder has sable babies and questioned whether some of the normals were sable or normal. So she picked the darkest one with a lot of spotting on the belly. We noticed that she has a goldish stripe through the top of the eyes. Basically what I'm asking is, has anyone ever seen a normal with the eye stripe? The belly appears to be sable along with the dark color and the pattern.

i was honestly going through all of my pictures of the 3 normals i have and apparently they don't like to keep their heads still long enough to get a clear pic of their eyes. but all three of my balls have the eye stripe. it's like the color from the skin continues through the eye. i thought it was a neat perk to their looks.

I this girl is a normal it's the first one with an eye stripe this prominent that I've ever seen. It's not as noticeable in the picture but its pretty bright.

All normals that I know of have the eye stripe visible, and most morphs do too.

I only questioned it because I have a normal with no visible eye stripe. Her eyes are a solid color with a pupil.

I would bet if you shine enough light on it, or get the flash right on the face, the eye will show the eye stripe behind it.
In any case the eye not showing the eye stripe doesn't mean anything, just that the eye is dark compared to some.
The photo I showed up there is a dark eye without flash that snake looks like it has black eyes.

So would you say this snake is a dark normal with a busy belly or possible sable? It looked much darker than any normal the breeder had and more like one of her sables.

I say it could be a sable. The eye stripe has nothing to do with it though. Look more at the pattern and speckling inside the alien heads. Here is a pic of mine as a baby for comparison.
