Hello, i have been with this site for a while now, and i have just clicked on the "Store Products" link under navigation, and i was surprised to see the classic thong. not objecting to it or anything, just found it surprising/funny.

just felt like telling you all, and wondering if any one else thought it was surprising/funny?

I thought that it was funny to have a thong but no plain t-shirts. I think I would look better in a plain t-shirt instead of a thong. :P

Yeah, because you never really see a person's thong (well, not usually in the normal course of events of a regular day.)

You'd be surprised at how many thongs I see in a day LOL my girlfriends and me are really comfortable around each other so we don't care about walking around in our underware.

    Hhhhmmmmmm........

I'll talk to Godfather, maybe we can have another contest.......Thong of the Month!!! It would have to be modeled, of course! :D

and yeah a slogan would be cool or some sort of web address or something - something more identifying at least on a few items. What about some ball-pythons.net items that we could use for our herps?
    the bp.net hide
    the bp.net thermo/hygro
    the bp.net light fixture
    the bp.net tank background?

LOL!! I'm sure you'll get over it, Will.

I think the point of the merchandise is to advertise the site. I'm not sure my gopher snake cares if his hide has a logo on it. :P I think a variety of shirts would be great...different styles and colors to choose from.

Hehe the slogan for the thong will abviously have to read:

    HOT HIDE

    or

    HUMID HIDE

Eww ... I think stick with HOT HIDE. The other is just a bit TMI.

    No such thing :P

Your mileage may vary, but I find that the line of TMI is often clear to me after the speaker has already crossed it. In this case, I think I can safely state that, for me, the relative humidity of the herp diaspora's collective thong regions qualifies as TMI. Other examples of TMI that have recently been revealed to me include the fact that a co-worker sleeps with his pet cat between his legs in his thong region and the fact that a friend's ex-girlfriend is fond but very gastrically-intolerant of broccoli.

Daymn - that significantly diminishes the number of interesting links I can send your way :P

Just wait until someone goatse's you hehe - that left me scarred for life.

    Marla
Nah, you can send the links anyway and if they're oddball enough I'll add them to the Medicine Cabinet on my site. ;) Generally, it's not really TMI for me until it's associated with an individual or small group that I know or feel like I know on some sort of personal basis. For example, knowing that there are lonely men who like to sleep with cats in their crotches is fine. Knowing that M___ G____ at work does it is just a bit perturbing. ;) As far as the goatse, that goes right up there with rotten.com on the list of sites not to view if I plan to eat anytime soon.

    To say the least.

    ACK!

(curiosity will more than kill your cat - it will revive it from the dead in a "Pet Sematary" kinda zombified way and have it chasing you with a pawfull of scalpels)

LOL! I'm guessing Smulkin's curiosity got the better of him and he checked out rotten.com. I think I'll take a pass on that one...and whatever goatse is!

No, someone sent me a loaded link that wound up going to goatse. I heard it was taken down but no way in hell am I going to check. Never cared much for the hyper-gore sites and Faces of Death and all that shlock - seeing that kinda stuff in real life sort of dulls the fascination.
  • 04-26-2004, 03:57 PM
    Marla
It was taken down, but revived with a mirror at (I think) goat.cx instead. Judy, trust me, both of those sites ought to qualify as TMI for you and most anybody else not obsessed with gore and ummm .... extreme images. If that's the kind of links Smulkin was offering, I'll pass. I figured they were more along the lines of http://www.farts.com/ or http://www.misspoppy.com/ or http://www.stiffs.com/ or the perennial favorite around here http://www.tashian.com/multibabel/

when adding to the store, let me know.......i have a customer at the bank that hand paints........she is going to redo the tag of Sixx on the front of my car since the man that can airbrush people has my bp looking like a copperhead and told me i wasn't an artist........she may be interested in making them for others........she is wonderfully gifted!!! and, she doesn't think that i am strange for owning a snake..........well, two, now. FYI

Um, cats in your bathing suit region just aint right. I don't care who you are, the things in your bathing suit area should be limited to human body parts or sex toys. Last I checked, felines do not qualify as either!

marla, i'd appreciate if you'd keep what my cat and i do on the low low. thank you.

    LOL @ Will

I would not offer those links - nor trick folks into following them. There's nasty and then there's pluck-out-thine-own-eyes gross. hurrrrrr.

I will provide a link to a CafePress OMGWTFBBQ!! BBQ apron though.

You could also make ball-pythons.net mouse pads.

oooh ball-pythons.net static stickers you can put in your car window - I love static stickers because the don't leave any marks and you can move them around without dulling the stick.
