    Getting rid of rodents
We have some rodents in the rafters and the exterminator can't show up until after the holidays. There are multiple of them. How can we try and get rid of the varmints in the mean time? Any tricks?

Release your most trust worthy snakes to hunt them down! :) or you can place a bucket in middle of room with treats in it and a board for them to walk to top of bucket. They will walk up the board jump in bucket and be stuck, long as nothing is in there for them to climb. Use a five gallon taller the better

We have these really mean black squeeze jaw rat traps we get from Lowes. Can't remember what they are called, but we use them outside, because our chickens attract rats.

Snap traps baited with peanut butter.

Please avoid the use of poison - any poison will affect a predator or scavenger of a poisoned rat.

I'll get a pic of where they are inside the house. It isn't easily accessed.

I can't watch that movie anymore. I have seen it too many times. It is painful. My sister, however, watches 24 hours of it on Christmas and feels the need to make the trip to Cleveland to see the actual Christmas Story house that was in the movie and pick on the tour guide (who played Randy in the movie) every time she comes up to visit us.

I completely agree with the black claw traps (used them and love them) and also try glue traps. Bait with pb and maybe some bird or other small animal food.
