Chatbox! Why doesn't anyone use this?

Why doesn't anyone use the chatbox?!?

I just had no idea it was there o.O

I use it occasionally, but usually there is no one there. I browse the forum on my phone and my laptop.

Also, it bugs me that it refreshes ever 15 seconds and bounces the window to the first comments in the displayed thread, meaning I can't see the new comments til I scroll down. Its annoying.

Tapatalk doesn't have it so I use the random chat thread lol

Hence why I made it lol

more than a year ago people used it every night, for some reason it just stopped being used (myself being part of the guilty party) a long time ago we suggested to move the chat box to the top so people would see it, but the mods told us they didn't want the chat box used for questions they would rather see on the forum so they can be searched and commented on later on. The chatbox used to be a link in the site nav, now its just a sub menu.

My suggestion, if you want to see it used, set up a time and ask people to chat. I do enjoy real time chat, it tends to be less formal and all kinds of characters come and go. and just so everyone knows it works just fine on a normal mobile browser, haha taptalk users lol.
