Thats a good price for a lesser. However, I personally wouldn't choose that snake. I prefer lessers with bright yellows and reduced patterns. That particular lesser is a tad too busy for my taste.

But if you like the snake, go for it.

I like less busy lessers/butters too but I like his colors. Not a bad price for a male.

IMO a good lesser has very few-if any- spots, so I wouldn't pick this guy. It's all preference, though! If you like him go for it!

Will his pattern for sure be passed on to his offspring or is there a chance that his offspring will have a more reduced pattern?

There is always a chance, the mom has an effect too. This is my pastel butter male, fairly reduced pattern but a few spots.

Here are a few of his babies from this season. The super pastel butter on the left is from a busy patterned pewter and she definitely has more spots and a different pattern than her father. The pastel butter and butter on the middle and right were from a reduced pattern female. The butter is almost spotless like her dad and the pastel butter barely has a spot on her.

Personally, I LOVE the spotted, busier patterned Lessers. My own guy has lots of back dots, which I adore. IMHO, $150 for a Lesser is a great price. :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Different people like different things when it comes to a particular morph. Some like more reduced patterns, others don't. It's all up to your eye to decide what you like. Not every ball python can be spotless, yet that seems to be the trend where everyone equates less dots to higher quality. I personally think this is a good looking lesser and for $150 locally, it would be a no-brainer for me.

I would say the price is right. Normally I prefer more reduced, (my butter is), but I have a busy pastel lesser that I love. Just depends on what catches your eye.
