How much to sell her for???
I have a very nice 2011 spider female. Weighs 1100grams empty. Just wondering what kind of price I can sell her for?? I am in Ontario Canada if that makes a big difference. Thanks!

Yes I guess I will have to. She is my first and only bp and unfortunately I was unaware of "the wobble" when I purchased her. Although it is very minor, it is more pronounced when I handle her, which is unfortunate because I love to handle her.

Wobble is normal in spiders, why would you sell her just because of that?

    I just bought 2 Spiders!
I think the head wobble is adorable though.

I agree with Star. I enjoy a good wobble when my girls get excited. I know that it isn't impairing them in any way, so it's merely a humorous quirk when they are about to eat.

because her wobble is getting worse. Even when just cruising around in her tank its quite noticeable, and as I mentioned before I want to handle her everyday but it makes her wobble more aswell.
You may not think it is impairing, but numerous times she has struck and missed, and almost got my hand in the process (even though i am using 12inch tongs). She certainly wouldn't survive in the wild, so yes i think it is an impairment, and if i would have known before I purchased her about the wobble, I wouldnt have purchased her.
Not to step on any toes, i do think the spider morph is beautiful and creates some of the most amazing combos, but I am not looking to breed, I just want a pet that I can take out and handle without making its neurological problems worse.

A lot of times stress can bring on a wobble. If you are handling her every day, that could just be too stressful for her, spider or not. Have you tried backing off on the handling and letting her be to see if that helps?

Yes I have done that. I dont handle her everyday because I know it makes it worse. I havent handled her in almost a week, and she is cruising around her tank with a noticeable wobble.

What is her set up like? Tank size, temps, hides? Maybe something husbandry related is stressing her out?

Our bee has a noticeable wobble. It is a little more noticeable at feeding times and he has struck and missed a few times but I learned to just keep the feeder as steady as possible and it has helped. He has more of a wobble when we first take him out. After he has been out for a little bit it's not as noticeable. It kinda adds to his charm:) he does this corkscrew like move with his head when he is wrapping around our hands and wrists never fails to fascinate the kids.

What if your other pets had the wobble? Like your dog or cat? Would that still be "adorable" and "cute"?

My pugs have a severe case of the head tilts and I find it absolutely adorable.

Actually, I think most people would still think it's adorable. People are kind of funny like that with their pets...and their kids :)

I don't think it's a big deal if he wants to replace her with something that he'd rather have, whether it be because of a wobble, gender, attitude, whatever. He hasn't had it for very long and he's discovered that it isn't what he really wanted. These things live for a really long time, I probably wouldn't keep one that I wasn't comfortable with either. It's easy to say, "You got it, you keep it!" But I can understand wanting to be 100% happy with a pet that you could potentially have for 20 years.

Re: How much to sell her for???
Before someone pounces! I guess I assumed that he (and I also guess OP could be a she) hasn't had her long because he/she said they were unaware of the wobble. The length of time poster has had the snake wasn't actually mentioned. If it had been very long, I wouldn't think this would just be showing itself now. But I don't know that because I don't know if this is something exhibited from birth, or if it shows up over time. Basically I made an assumption based on an uneducated assumption :)
    Ok, shutting up now.

I just don't want this person to feel bad about their choice, it's his/hers to make.

Okay, if the wobble is that bad then she is not really worth much to anyone to be honest with you.
Make sure all of her husbandry is spot on and go from there.

I think a bit of a wobble isn't a problem in itself, but I can understand why it would frustrate you when paired with a slightly shy/nervous disposition in your BP. Our spider has a moderate wobble when she feeds (doesn't prevent her from being an absolute pig) but in general she's an incredibly chilled out snake, who doesn't seem at all stressed by frequent handling. If her wobble was getting worse from interacting with her, I'd probably try to sell her as well as I like to handle my snakes. Everyday does sound pretty frequent though. We usually give ours the day before a feed with no handling, day of the feed no handling and day after no handling, so they're handled about 4 days a week, which many on here would still consider pretty frequent.

This! Yellow Dude does the corkscrew thing all the time. Every night he comes out for his wanderings and it's just up and over, up and over until he decides his house is still satisfactory and goes back to bed. He has almost no noticeable wobble though.

If you are selling it because it has a severe wobble then you need to sell it at a low price, because I don't know someone who would breed a spider with a horrible wobble and as you have said, it is so bad that she isn't even worth keeping as a pet. I would suggest that you just give her away, or charge $50 at most.

This being said in all honesty I have been looking at picking up a spider just because I love the way they look! So if you are looking to give her to a good home let me know. Rest assured she would have one with me :))). Plus I only have two BPs currently and I wouldn't mind taking care of her.

I was about to say the same thing. If the wobble is that bad that you are selling it, then not many others will pay decent money for it. At least I wouldn't pay that much if it was that bad, especially for breeding.
