Ripley's home!!!

Finally got my coral albino boa! She is gorgeous. These pictures don't really pick up her colors, it kinda washes her out. She has flecks of pink coming in all over her. She is a very mellow, sweet girl. The first thing she did when we got home was poop and pee all over my daughter, lol. Sorry for crappy pics, cell phone just doesn't cut it. And true to boa form, she was more interested in exploring. She's a little chubby, looks like she has been eating every 5 days, so we will get that sorted out and get her on a 10 day schedule. Here's Ripley, sitting just below 300 grams.

One tip - go to feeding once a week for a few weeks before going to 10 days. She doesn't appear too chubby, lol, and it'll be an easier transition for her. She looks to be in great condition. Enjoy her!

Yeah, I figured I would go every 7 days for a few to slowly switch gears on her. And she does look great and healthy, she's just a bit thicker than my other guy, doesn't quite have the same "boa" shape. Could part of that be because she is female? Or just cuz she's a tiny bit chubby that she has lost some shape? I love her though, she's beautiful and sweet.

My 2011 female also looks a smidgen "fatter" than my males so that might have something to do with it. Yours does look just a wee bit chubby though - but not really bad at all. She'll regain her "boa shape" with a better feeding schedule. And she may just have to poop, lol! But as you know, every 5 days is too often for baby boas. Many breeders start right with a 10 day schedule even for brand new neonates. But your girl didn't get FAT (you can still see her ribs in the 3rd pic of her around the nutcracker) so you'll be fine by simply adjusting her schedule. I'm feeding my 2012 baby once a week and my 2011 girl every 10 days. :gj:
