VPI Black Satin Line Black Pastels
These are one of my favorite base morphs and we were fortunate enough to hatch two out this season :).

Thanks! I was originally looking for a Liesen line BP but could never find any. When I came across this line I had to have one when I saw Raul @ West Coast Jungle had a few for sale.

Basically it comes down to the individual animal that was imported and that animal being slightly different looking than other black pastels. The combos and supers they make are the same as a regular black pastel as well so they aren't classified as a different morph just a different line. I think it's up to breeders to keep the lines pure and not cross them in order to keep their traits strong.
