LOL...I daresay even my husband would take his eggs with a $50,000 snake wrapped around them! :D :D

Congrats, Kara! I know you must be excited. I certainly would be thrilled. Heck, I'm excited now, just knowing that this will increase the propagation of leucistics if the babies survive and are healthy. Maybe in a few years the price will be down around where piebalds are now.

    Marcus,

Please go ahead and buy one so Randy Plank and I can come over and see it!

    Kara,

Awesome snake, congrats! Good to know that some, very distant, day we can all have one thanks to those working hard with them now. Is it bred to a fireball?

    Thanks,

    Randy Remington

Hehe...actually, that was just a generalization. I would consider myself fortunate to be able to get that particular snake for a mere $50k.

I remember seeing the fireballs (hets) for like 60K, guess what an actual lucy would go for. I doubt anyone would sell them out yet, too valuable in what they'll produce.

Wulp a fireball is a Ball Python that has been bred to be pure white with black eyes. I believe Bob Clark was the first guy to have one http://www.bobclark.com
there are all kinds of crazy color morphs and such with BP's now a days. NERD (where Kara is) makes some of the finest

*Edit* definately go with Kara on this one haha I've got a lot to learn about this whole genetics stuff! haha. Thanks for clearing that up Kara!

Actually, the "fireball" is a name given to snakes that are apparently the visible hets for a particular strain of black-eyed Leucistics (not ours). Fireballs are pretty snakes in and of themselves, but not the same thing as a Leucy.

Just to clear up any confusion. :)

I was wondering; what his snake was bred to? Are you going for hets, or was she bred to an other leucistic?
