Just for future reference, when looking for quality chocolate, I recommend looking for the highest cacao content.

Here's some examples of high quality ones:

White chocolate raspberry pancakes...? How many man points did you have to exchange for them? Was it a flat rate or did they charge you per pancake?

the lindt 92% cacao pretty much tastes like baker's chocolate (Terribad memory from childhood flashback....*shudders*) :puke:(Side note, first time I've ever had a chance to use the pukey-emoticon)

Best chocolate I ever had was from Germany with 95 cacao. It was nothing like bakers chocolate, it was amazing.

But back to the OP, I would also pass on that snake unless you really like it then by all means go for it.

I see what could be Chocolate but would need to see a better picture to be sure. Garcia's are said to be the best line but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like it that's what really matters.

No body said it wasn't a chocolate. We all just recommended passing on the snake.

It isn't a quality chocolate in my opinion. But then again, it could just be a poor picture quality....

You want something to look like this, which is a Garcia line Chocolate.

You need to get a better picture. It looks like it could be but I couldn't tell you for sure without a better picture.

I appreciate your opinion on it's quality but I just want to be clear you do believe it is a chocolate correct?

If you intend to breed chocolates, why buy a low quality one instead of a high quality one. You'll be able to sell the babies easier if they are top notch chocolates. Also, I'm fairly certain super chocolates are a combo which have issues. That's just my two cents.

I havent heard of the super having issues, regardless i like the look of her and just want to know that she is chocolate. The male i have selected for her has a super reduced pattern which is genetic so it should clean up offspring quite a bit

I think it is a really low quality example. But I'm not 100% sure because it's not obvious.

    Re: Quality Chocolate?
I haven't heard any issues with the supers either. This is a tough one to say for sure. The belly looks to clean, at least compared to my Chocolates. My Chocolates also don't have a head pattern, but a lighter more "chocolatey" color to it. I have heard others say theirs have a lighter bar across the back of the head though. Sorry I couldn't give you a more definitive answer.

Looks like a normal to me but I am not very good at identifying chocolates. If you like her get her as a dinker and prove her out.

IMO looks like a normal and if you are also questioning what it is then pass on it.

Quality in = quality out. Why snatch up a sub par specimen? That's like getting the brownest pastel or Enchi. What you produce from low quality won't be easily sold.

Don't muddy up the gene pools please.... Pass. I'll post a pic of my smoking chocolate I hatched out and sold for almost double market value! Why would you want crap that will sell cheap that you'll sit on for months?

Also keep in mind that you are posting on a forum of potential future customers.

You really don't want to be remembered for choosing low quality breeders. ;)

In all fairness not all the Garcia line chocolates look as nice as the ones posted in this thread. I struggle with identifying some and have also seen variation in the look of the supers that I'm still trying to figure out. I'm raising up my 2nd super now and have not seen any problems with them; in fact, I think this one will also breed his first winter like the one I kept last winter.
