I was flipping channels the other day and came across this show on HBO. The description said something about a stripper and a boa constrictor so I kept it on. Anyway it was about this stripper who loves animals and snakes. She actually uses a boa constrictor in her stripping. She takes the thing on stage with her at the strip club and rubs it all over her body and crotch. She said something like "Oh, I don't need a G-String when I have the boa, he just automatically goes to that area..." I was horrified! Anyone else see this?

No, but that sounds pretty gross. Not as weird as some of the things I've seen on HBO - like the people with horse fetishes on "Real Sex" (one participant is someone acting like a horse; the other is the rider or master) - but still pretty gross.

This is why furries and S&M should never be crossed. Furries scare me.

I dont want to dig too deep on this but i think that the snakes represents temptation and the devil. When in actuality isnt kept in a suitable enclosure and finds that this is the only place where he can say warm. People are strange creatures indeed.

All I have to say is Gross I don't know how you can look at anykind of animal other than another human and be "interested" in it other than as a respectful pet. People like that worry me and make me feel ill.

I really try not to dwell on particularly nasty thoughts...but I'm going to give into and express the one that this story brings to mind:

 Makes me want to put a few drops of MouseMaker in her can of FDS.

(If you don't know what FDS is...ask your mother. LOL)

Man, those are some tame strippers. If they were using gaboon vipers, or maybe black mambas, maybe I would be impressed. ;)

If someone is an actual herper who knows her animals...but also uses them in some erotic act she has....then...well, whatever floats your boat, I guess. But I doubt that someone like that would say in a national TV interview something so assinine as "I don't even need a g-string...he just goes to that area!" .....yuck!!!

    Um, That was me.....

    Ok ok, maybe not.

Exotic dnacers have been using snakes on stage for years. Think about it, snakes are "evil" and obviosly if used in disgusting ways, they are falic.
In my opinion it is not all that healthy for a snake to be "whipped" around on a dancers shoulders comphtorably. But whatever floats your boat.

As long as she isn't hurting the snake and takes good care if she wants to use it in her show, much like Alice Cooper use to, then I don't see a problem
Hey, it takes every kind of people to make what lifes about ( quote from a Robert Palmer song)
Judge not that ye be judge ( quote from Jesus)
And I stopped being suprised or bothered by what adults do inside their bedrooms:)
I don't think the stripper was trying to have or preform sex with it, it was much like a prop I am sure.
Remember people ie mainstream think we are strange and gross because we love and keep snakes
    Just food for thought 8)

i heard that the snake britney spears used was drugged, so it was asleep while her performance, then afterwards itd wake up

    anybody else hear that?

(p.s. i know she said it was hissing at her, but she mighta made it up, make her seem "cooler" to be holding a snake that was hissing at her)

A member of this site recently notified me of this thread or I would have responded sooner. I wanted to state that I never said anything like that. Snakes and woman can pose together erotically, sensually and even silly but when it comes to sexually that is where I draw the line. In my photos my snakes cover up the “Pretty Parts’ but never to sexually stimulate. Regardless of whether this dancer is a caring pet owner or using snakes to make money comments like that tend to make snake owners look bad.

The picture is of Snakebabe (we saw her at the Florida show last month)..I don't think we determined who was on the HBO show, but I doubt it was her.

Yeah, I was reading her website, I don't think Snakebabe would ever have made a comment like that on HBO.

Not that many people acutally keep a suclata tortise and give it the proper amount of to roam around and provide well written caresheets that they wrote on their website.

You can see many of my snakes on our websites at www.steveaugust.com or www.reptilerescue.com
New photos are in the plans for this month when my current albinos come out of quarantine. They were nto to healthy when I got them (90% my snakes are rescues) but all throat cultures and fecals are looking good. Hooray!

checked out your sites Snakebabe, cool stuff. Im glad you posted some care sheets...

That BBQ trick looks a bit risky though... how do you insure the snakes safety in that stunt?

There is a belly dancer in Snafransico who keeps a number of snakes as pets and to use in her performances. Sometimes she uses more than one. I can't wait to have portraits done with Kitty. I doubt he will ever be big enough to do an all natural portrait of both of us, but I could do a partial. I see nothing wrong with that as long as they are not being used in a sexual way. In other words I feel the same about it as SnakeBabe.

    Thanks for the compliments.
The stunt involving the snake is a simple trick performed at children’s parties by magicians with doves all the time only Steve has made it much much bigger.
It is a magic trick and flames never come near the snake. It has been tested over and over using video cameras, thermometers and if I could I would stick Steve in there first !

For those who don’t know how the effect is done I don’t want to spoil it for them and go into detail on how it is safely performed but I do appreciate your concern for the snake and I can say in over 20 years of Steve doing that no harm has come to any snake.

    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

    Hey I like your site.
When you're performing with animals, are there ever people who come up after a performance and want to see the snakes? I know that I would be such a person if I saw them perform. :)
