    regurgitation? HELP
ok so we fed the girls today and one of them regurgitated less than an hour after eating (mouse still in pretty much the same condition as when it went down). What do we do and what signs should we be looking for? temps are good humidity is at 65% the one that regurged also shed today as well. Next issue upon inspecting her her back in is really tight? (impaction? or constipation? I am at a loss as to what it might be she had a small fecal earlier today but it seemed like she had to really work it out.

What exactly are your temps at?
Sausage butt indicates an upcoming poop. I would definitely monitor that . Do not feed the snake for at least 2 weeks. Regurges are stressful on the system and the stomach flora needs to replenish. 2 weeks from now, feed her prey smaller than usual. About half the size.

Regurges stink real bad, are you sure it did swallow the mouse completely?

cool side is at 82 and basking is at 93 at the hotest point immediatly under the lamp average just one inch away is closer to 90 water temp is 74 and humidity at 65% she has a hide on each side a tree to climb in
also would that mean to skip one feeding and feed the next on two weeks because they eat every 5 days currently since we are still feeding hoppers till they are gone and these hoppers are only 5-7g a piece

1 week is fine with hatchlings, 2 weeks if the snake is sub adult and larger ...
If you feed every 5 days then skip the next meal and feed in 10 days or so when the next feeding is.

So it was a f/t feeder? Perhaps it wasn't warm enough? Feeders with a cooler unthawed core promotes regurges as well.

perhaps all things are possible but we thoroughly checked squishing around its abdomen to see if it was cold and it felt to be at room temp through out them we warmed it up a bit she did hesitate for just a sec so could she have just not wanted it

what does a regurge look like other than smell? this mouse was still fully in tact with no abnormal or strong mousy smell and it was out of her long enough that in the 20 mins I was gone it was already just below room temp again

either way we will wait to feed her for now my only other two concerns are if there is anything else that would have caused the regurge health wise and the constipation / really stiff back end we did give her a 20 min warm soak after she was having issues going earlier today

    Her shed was extremely clean

She probably just spat it out not regurgitate. Heat the mouse to 100 degrees.

if you're unsure what happen. wait the week or 10 days. even if it wasn't a regurg. the time off won't hurt the snake. if it was a regurg, the fluid in their stomach is very strong. bringing some of that up with the rodent can tear a snake up. the waiting period is to give the snake time for all that to settle back down. if you feed too soon and the snake has another regurg close to the first one, this can lead to bad things. when one of my snakes have a regurg or seeing the rodent totally wet. I wait. as the saying goes "better safe than sorry" your snake missing a meal or 2 isn't going to hurt it.

Yeah to be on the safe side wait a week or so :) my snake randomly just stops eating and sits next to the rat too. I usually rethaw and wave it at her face and she gets the point

An update so she is definitely constipated she keeps trying to go should I be concerned that the fluid coming from her is pinkish or would that equate to a human busting a hemroid while forcing themselves to poop she is becoming rather accepting of her two 20 min soaks a day apox every twelve hours since yesterday I just want to make sure she is not injuring herself
