We hit #1 on the herp trader top site, not bad, lol. If anyone else pays attention to website stats and top sites, we've been climbing significantly. 14 is typically our position on fauna, which is the largest top site. We get a good deal of hits.

We lack in unique hits though, ammount of different people actually visiting. We average at about 150-160 different people coming to the site a day. Which really doesn't compare to larger herp communities that encounter about 800, and the largest slightly over 1000.

We're doing pretty good actually. I often have to remember that the other sites often have two extra years of seniority over this site.

Cool deal - what ever happened to that little stack of rank links we used to have on the margin?

Not the page count - it showed Repitrank etc and where we stood. UNless it is just not displaying for some reason.

No - I really don't see it . . . honest injun. Mouse dont do nuthin there neither.

I need to d00sh out my cookies, temp files etc on this box anyway - that's likely all it is.

Just tell people about the site I guess.

put the link in your signature in other forums...then go post some there. if you see people getting attacked on other forums...invite them over. we have quite a few people that got here that last way.

Or- phone friend - my buddy who also has a BP - I just called him and tried to get his e-mail so I could send him a link to this site. I've PM'd some other people in other forums that were getting attacked but I don't know if they ever got here.

Not really a good idea, pming people to come over here. The host site wouldn't like it very much :) I know I'd be upset if people were being pm'd and told to join another site. But I suppose if there are so many unhappy users here I'd deserve it.

Well, I did that with a couple of people, but only because I could see that they were getting ignored or treated poorly with perfectly valid questions. Not something I'd do a lot of, though.
