    Super Pastel Lesser Pairing?
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and have recently acquired a Super Pastel Lesser male. Any suggestions on a female pairing?

    Thanks

I don't have any females yet. I am getting back into the hobby and I'm looking to acquire some females.

Well you have an open book then haha I'm not greatest when it comes to picking what to pair to what. Do you have an idea as to what direction you wanna go with breeding? If it was me I would get a female spider and try for queen bees:)

Butterbee (Butter Spider) would be my vote. Shoot for Killer Queenbees (Super Pastel x Spider x Lesser) and Super Pastel Queenbees (Super Pastel x Butter x Spider). And you'd still have BEL in the mix too if you had a Butterbee male to pair with your Super Pastel Lesser. Can't lose with those combinations. :gj:

The males not het clown tho? I thought OP was lookin for something he could pair this year and get something from. Clowns add some awesomeness to everything tho.

    He can make hets.
Morph het clowns are worth a lot.
    Females are over $1k.
Plus its the stepping stone to amazing combos.
I agree with going the female clown route.
And since the male hets can breed quickly, they can breed back to mom the next season.

I have to warn you about this pairing. How would you be able to tell which is the butter or lesser offspring? And respected combos as well? Not to mention the risk of getting bug eyed BEL offspring, which is prevalent in Lesser Butters/Butter Butter/Lesser Lesser.

Personally, I suggest something with Black Pastel or Clown.

I like the clown idea, but I think ANYTHING with spider will be nice. I also like mojaves...albinos...pied...the list goes on :D

I'm biased so I like that idea! :D

I really like the idea of a female clown though. The lesser clowns are really cool!

I'll throw another recessive gene into the mix: desert ghost.

if i could pair him to three females i would use
    Stinger Bee
Clown/Pastel Clown if you can afford it
    Firefly Enchi

Enchi and Clown are two awesome morphs that just make everything better.
I'm probably getting a clown tomorrow at white plains to start some projects I've wanted to do for a while now, the enchi/pastel enchi clown and the killer clown

Thanks for all the ideas guys. I agree the butterbee could present some problems. I'm leaning towards getting a clown and/or spider female. Now I just got to find the right snakes to buy.

the very least that will come from that clutch is a pastel het clown, pastel het clowns females 800 to 1000 and males around 300. else: pastel lesser het clowns, are going for 1000"s . and clown stuff is hot right now. I don't think I would call that breeding nothing.

Liking that idea a lot! With the blushing/flames a super pastel generally has and the lesser along with that to then add the desert ghost...that'd be a hot and LIGHT looking snake! I'd love to see what that would produce...but then I'm a fan of ivories, blue and black-eyed lucies both so I might be a tad biased toward a super light snake, pattern or not, lol!

To the OP: You can't go wrong with clown in that mix. I'm not a huge fan of enchis in and of themselves (I know, I know...just not my thing though.) but in combination they throw some awesome patterns/colors into the mix and I'd think enchi would compliment super pastel and lesser both quite nicely. Good luck, whatever you decide. :gj:
