Really starting to worry...please help!

Ok so about 2 or 3 months ago I bought a pretty small bp (about 2, 2.5 feet) and the guy was feeding him small mice so that's what I did (I know, mistake) well after a couple of feedings it just didn't seem right so I bought some scales and he was 344g! So I fed him two small next time and then got him on large mice (about 23-28g) and he was a beast! He ate large for a couple of weeks...ruff struck but didn't eat...but I know bps go on food strike so no worries.....anyway this is the weird (scary?) part....he has not pooped or peed or showed any signs of shed the entire time I've had him!....once I found out how much he weighed I thought, "ok food was too small so he was absorbing all of it and isn't growing like he should" but now he's been eating large and still no poop, no pee, not even the slightest sign of shed. Is he okay? I really like my little guy and I'm getting worried....sorry for the book btw :)

I wouldn't worry to much. They will poop when they need too, and they all shed at their own rates. Just keep feeding him, and keep an eye on him.

I noticed this too, when Indy fasted for about 5 weeks, she was due for her (past monthly) shed, she didn't shed, poop, or pee until she started eating again.
I woudln't worry about it! If the snake is hungry, he'll eat. Don't feel bad, he's just being stubborn!:)

See that's just it he's always eaten fine (up until last week but I'm not worried about that) its the face that its been I think three months and still no poop, pee, or shed...I mean I know I wasn't feeding him the right size for a while but still I was expecting...something lol

Is the husbandry ok? Is there always water for him? If you answer positive, then it´s all right. Food, temp and water.
Is he kind of fatty close to the tail?

I would not be concerned about the poop pee overly underfeeding they will try to conserve all they can. The part that I would be concerned about is the stopped feeding I have never seen a 344gm snake stop. I have found around 1000gm they usually do but at this size they rarely do. Often this is husbandry related.

What are you hot side surface temps ? (floor level at the hide)
Your cool side surface temps? (floor level at the hide)
Ambient air temps (3 or 4 inches off the floor in the middle of the enclosure)
Humidity?

The prey size is still a bit small. Try to shoot for 15% of the snake's weight per feeding. 15% of 344 is 51 grams.

He's always got water, humidity hangs around 40-50, now when it comes to temps I don't have a heating pad yet but when I get him a new cage I will be getting one with either a rancho or herpstat...anyways with the heat lamps his warm side is always between 91-94 and my cool side thermometer went out but I'm trying to get one, but i would say it would be about right

He is not abnormal or anything near the tail and nothing hard near the vent....as for the prey size I was trying to work him up seeing as he was eating something so small I didn't want to jump from really small to 51g lol

Good news everyone! Went to take my little buddy out today thought he looked funny so I turned the light on and lo and behold his eyes were blue! Which would explain his recent refusal of food and hopefully after his shed is done he will drop a deuce lol....thanks everyone for all of you help!!

I just never seen a sub 800gm refuse feeding ever. Hunger strikes are associated with breeding, a under 400 gm is unlikely to be in season as they say. I would recheck the husbandry to insure there is not an external reason for refusals. This could also be connected to deification as well too cool or too warm temps (ambient included) will cause the digestion to shut down. Make sure your temps are correct.

If he doesn't poop after his shed you can always do a couple of warm soaks and massage his stomach a bit. If he has something in there it will come out!!! It sounds like He's just absorbing everything because he needs it. Keep feeding and I'm sure he will be just fine.
