I like deserts alot are the a dominate gene? Or co-dominate? Just wondering since their the ones you can't breed the females right? Sorry that's a few questions haha hope everything goes good and congrats

Since the females are infertile its assumed dominant, perhaps though if something happened and they weren't infertile there may turn out to be a super form. I love deserts if my females don't sell for pet prices then I keep them I think Deserts are one of if not the nicest dominant/co-dominant mutation

What is the pet price for females? They do look real nice, I like having some snakes that are visible and one in the living room (thinking that would be the prettiest snake in there once my collection grows)

That's not bad at all, once my snake room is in order and my rack is set freeing up a tank, I might have to bug you a little bit ;) ;) haha if you don't mind of coarse.I figure if I gotta have a normal male that won't be a breeder might as well have a good looking none breeder female and gonna have a stock pile of frozen rats soon :)

Tax time is when I'm hoping to be ready to make a few pick ups. I'd for sure like to look at the different desert females you have cuz a new living room snake would be nice haha (nicest display snake goes there) when your babies come out and are ready ill hopfully have the money to spend on one :) so with luck they'll be ready and so will my bank account at the same time haha

O and I just looked at the desert pastels tapatalk doesn't have the face I want lol let's just say wow the colors on them are awesome would be a great display (I like having displays that make people who aren't interested in snakes say wow that looks nice so I can get the ball rolling to showing rest of collection lol) so ya pm me when your babies hatch so we can discuss more about which ones and what would want for them an see what we can work out. I have my fingers crossed for a good tax time ha ha

I heard someone in Ontario prooved out the desert. That you just have to grow the females a lot bigger than normal so they don't get egg bound.

Honestly, I was hoping someone else would have info. I don't know if it is just rumour or fact. I can't find anything yet but I have heard it from a couple people now, but they are like me and heard from someone else who heard from someone else..........

Good luck on the pairing. The desert gene is alot of fun to work with. Its not always about the monetary value of the snakes. This gene does some crazy stuff.
