My pastel pied Zeus is finally here. I came home for my lunch break to get some photos. Pictures don't do him justice, but I will get some of him in my light tent once he's had time to settle in.
He's from Garrick DeMeyer and currently weighs 414g. He will be going to my pastel yellowbelly 50% het pied later in the season. He needs to clear QT and get a little bigger and she could always use a few more grams. :P

He's super nice and yea, he is definitely one of the nicer high-whites I've seen. I like his lil' white tail tip, even though I usually like a patterned tail better. Congrats and good luck on proving out your girl!

It didn't really come through in the photos very well, but he is more yellow in color. It is easier to tell when they hatch because pastel pieds and super pastel pieds are actually gray in color. For me, I believe him to be pastel pied for two reasons:
1.) Garrick produced him and I trust him
2.) He has a yellow over all color with a lot of yellow coming in around the edges of his pattern spots. I have seen darker pieds and orange colored pieds that are normal pieds and his color is very different from theirs.
If I had a normal pied in my collection I would take a picture of them together, but sadly he is my only visual.

Congrats! Hes a nice looking pastel pied. I just hatched alittle female a few weeks ago and cant stop looking at her :D I hope your female proves out for you.
